Our universe is ruled by physics, and faster-than-light travel is not possible - until the discovery of The Flow, an extradimensional field we can access at certain points in space-time that transports us to other worlds, around other stars. Humanity flows away from Earth, into space, and in time forgets our home world and creates a new empire, the Interdependency, whose ethos requires that no one human outpost can survive without the others. A smashing, award-winning debut novel that introduces Charley Davidson: part-time private investigator and full-time Grim Reaper. Charley sees dead people. That’s right, she sees dead people. And it’s her job to convince them to “go into the light”. But when these very dead people have died under less than ideal circumstances (i.e. murder), sometimes they want Charley to bring the bad guys to justice. Complicating matters are the intensely hot dreams she’s been having about an Entity who has been following her all her life...and it turns out he might not be dead after all.

Impressed
I really enjoyed this audiobook. It was easy to get into and held my (A.D.D) attention span from chapter one, all the way until the end. Sometimes I find that books that are considered cozy mysteries a little to...wholesome for my liking. And while this book is squeaky clean, it was still interesting. Also, I've never read any of the Aggie Underhill Mysteries before and this is book . I was a little worried that I would be lost starting this far into a series, but I wasn't lost at all. The narration was also excellent! Overall, I was pretty impressed with this little audiobook! <3

Well written story
The author wrote a very entertaining story, but the narrator and sound editor butchered it. Numerous mispronounced words and one instance of a few sentences repeated deterred from it's enjoyability.

Quirky Enjoyable Cozy
I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.
This is the 5th book in the Aggie Underhill Mystery series. It is a standalone book with no cliffhanger ending. I have not read the 4 books leading up to this book and had no trouble following the plot or the characters. There are several references to events occurring in prior books with brief summaries of those events.
Aggie, Roger, and Betty are delightful. They each have their own quirks and sense of humor which are very enjoyable. I loved Roger's sunburn and his trying to take advantage of the amount of sodas he received. This is a fun and very entertaining cozy.
The narrator, Michael Carr, was a bit of a detraction for me. He mispronounced words and there were phrases which were repeated - not caught during quality control, I'm guessing.

About Aggie
Aggie, the main character, an amateur sleuth, although there really wasn’t much sleuthing until closer to the end of the book. Perhaps the build-up was just too long, but I found it to be a bit slow until the last end of the story

Enjoyable
This is a really engaging book with great characters and a good story, I really felt that the people in the book were real and they did act like anyone would on a cruise .there were so many characters that at first I was confused who was who but that quickly evaporated and I then began to relax into the story .i liked the fact that it was all different ages and personalities with likeable characters and even the ones that were meant to be annoying were not intrusive to the point of some books where you start to hate that part of a book , this was not like that at all . I thoroughly enjoyed it . The setting was good and I listened in one sitting as I couldn’t stop . The ending I didn’t expect . Even though we know from the start about the brothers , it was a good wrap up .

A Crime On The Ocean Waves.
Aggie Underhill and friends are again in the middle of events as a kidnapping doesn't quite go to plan and Cupid's arrows are flying everywhere. This is a lovely installment of Aggie and her curiosity snooping out a mystery. The characters are well rounded with wonderful dialog and descriptions. The narrator enhances the listening experience.
