It is an extremely complete book.

I thought it would be like others who talk to you only about nonsense diets, here it is not only about diets, it is based on building new habits and distributing food giving space for hours or days if you wish.

Approachable and natural methods described

I’ve listen a few books about intermittent fasting, and it’s getting more and more popular, even among celebrities. However, with Kate McCarty I discovered how approachable and natural this method can be.

Good overview of OMAD

The book is more for intermittent fasting beginners than those who have tried it before. For the experienced IF practitioner, this book can be very repetitive, and somewhat tedious in repeating very basic things most people already know to do. Other than that, if you have never tried intermittent fasting, and are interested in eating one meal a day for weight loss and autophagy benefits, but have no idea how to start, this book is for you. For those already familiar with IF looking for additional knowledge, spend your credit on more advanced level information.

Great For Beginning Fasters

I found the book to be informative for new fasters. It tended to lack the more technical aspects of fasting that I was seeking.

This Book will Set You up to Fail

I'm an experienced Intermittent Faster and I was shocked when I listened to this book. It encompasses all the negative components of Diet Culture and I found it to be a toxic representation of Intermittent Fasting. This book has turned IF into a calorie restriction diet, which is not what you want. Done properly, you will not experience being hangry when you are fasting. The other negative side effects she describes are also attributed to calorie restriction and you do not get the same benefits when doing a calorie restricted diet as you do fasting. The book you want to listen to/read is Gin Stephens' Fast, Feast, Repeat. Follow that up with Dr. Fung's Life in the Fasting Lane and/or The Obesity Code.

Keep up the excellent work. Highly recommended.

The information provided on these mins, as well as the suggestion it gathered, are worth far more than five stars and I would consider this book to be a great bargain at twice the price. Highly recommended.

Irritating narration

The narration of this book almost drove me out of my mind with boredom. The content was average, not in-depth enough for anyone who wishes to delve deeper into IF, but maybe a good introduction if you are new to the subject.
