Publisher's Summary

While relatives and friends plan your funeral, deciding on a casket, a burial plot, and who the pallbearers shall be, you will be more alive than you have ever been! But where, asks Dr. Erwin Lutzer, will you be? What will you see? Will you see God sitting on his throne, surrounded by angels and redeemed humanity, or will you realize that you are shrouded in darkness, in a region of unending regret and deprivation? In this audiobook, Dr. Lutzer opens up what The Bible has to say about death and the life after death, and explodes the lies about "near-death" experiences and reincarnation. At the end of the book, he also explains the choice each of us must make before we die, the choice that determines where we will spend eternity.

One very special moment

Absolutely 5 stars. Full of comfort and understanding for the Believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and a serious challenge to rest in Him and His finished work on the Cross.

Full of biased apologetics

The authors tendancy to disregard and strongly judge the near death experiences of other authors, and his attempt to convince readers that they were not real was a huge turn off. It felt like his message of the only real experiences are those that fit into his own religious beliefs, turned out to be bad taste, unconvincing apologetics. Scriptures are rooted in life experience, they do not and really aren't meant to speak to death experiences. Lutzer makes the assumption that heaven can only be explained through HIS interpretation of the bible. This impression is incredibly arrogant and disappointing. Wasted my money on this.

wonderful information

I love Erwin Lutzer and his book was very informative on what's to come after we die. He tells it like it is and makes you really stop and look at the way you are living. I"d read anything by him.

one minute after you die

This was written by a pastor and reflects on heaven and hell as referenced by the bible. I thought it gave an objective discussion with good references without giving a long "sermon". It would be a good book to give to someone who has lost a love one or to someone who is sceptical of the bible or who doesn't believe in what the bible says. It would help someone who is greiving over a lost one. Briefly, he explores channeling, spiritualism, ghosts, baby death, heaven, and hell.

A good reminder that our day is coming .

The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, this book really helps us to remember that He is our maker and our final Judge.
