Publisher's Summary

Ralph:

Being traded to Dallas was a dream come true. I had everything I wanted, my game had never been better, and my wife was due to have our baby any day now. What could go wrong? Everything.

I was now raising our baby on my own. After hockey practice and games, I didn't have time to sleep, let alone make sure my social media was up to par. I never thought I'd get a second chance at love.

Candace:

When my hotshot brother was drafted in the NHL, he didn't have time to do his social media, so I took over for him. Little did I know it would become my career.

My plate was full with more than 50 NHL players, and I wasn't taking on any new clients. Yet when he showed up on my doorstep with the cutest little girl in the whole world, I couldn't say no.

I was just helping, but it turned into more than that. He's the man I've been waiting for.

Not my fave

I like stand on your own I don't give a f@#k strong women. I don't like how completely she fell apart, fainting, leaving the state, selling her house. I needed a break!

Terrible overdramatize Mac nonsense

Stopped listening with an hour to go- it was just too annoying. I’m sorry but NHL team owners don’t get out of bed at 2 am to send their private plane flying around because some girl they know peripherally has a broken heart.

This story was poorly developed, repetitive (they get interrupted by the baby over and over and over again). And overall just really over dramatic.

The plot conflict was really overdone and made a mountain out of very little.

Narrator was okay, but made cloyingly annoying baby voices for the kids and occasionally the female main character sounded like an 80 year old.

CONTAINS SPOILER!!!

I really enjoyed the story right up until I didn't.

In an argument about having more kids, Ralph calls Candice by his dead wife's name. was that a huge f** up? Yes. But was it big enough for her to run away to big brother in New York and decide to move there? No.
All the while, Ralph is calling her every hour for 2 weeks, leaving voice-mail, sending texts, driving by her house, even calling her brother and giving him messages to give to her. She refuses to listen to any of it and just cries about her broken heart and anything he has to say will just make it hurt more. I
I get that her issue is more about wanting more children than his blunder. I understand her longing for pregnancy and motherhood and not wanting to give that up. I just really hate the way she handled things and that ultimately ruined the story for me.

Connor Crais is the only positive I could take away from this book.

Uuhhhh 😬

I’ve read other books by this author that were so good and I was not as happy with this one. The main female character is supposed to strings but leaves the state after argument, and then it just gets less believable IMO after that. Connor Crais was on point as usual.

A good start!

Ralph and Kandace’s instant connection is sweet and it was a good start to the new series! Single Dad romances are in my top 5 favorite themes, and this hit the spot. The narration was absolutely amazing and really brought the characters to life!

Fantastic single dad romance

A heartfelt and heart-warming single dad romance that will keep you riveted from the beginning until the end. This story is full of angst, scorching hot chemistry, humor, love, and so much pain. I LOVED Candace, Ralph & baby Ariella. I highly recommend this book to everyone I know who loves reading. Connor Crais & Ava Lucas do a wonderful job portraying & bringing the characters to life. They are amazing narrators.

Great story and narration

Book one in an exciting new series from Natasha Madison and I could not wait to dive in to it. I have read quite a few books by Ms. Madison and as I have come to expect, the writing was strong with characters that you cannot help but fall for. I was riveted from the first to the last chapter.

The narration by Ava Lucas and Connor Crais did justice to what I found to be a fabulous book to listen too.

I was so excited when I heard that Ms. Madison was starting a new hockey series. This is Ralph and Candace’s story and is an entertaining second chance at love story.

Only One Kiss was at times an emotional read, there were times I laughed, times I cried but through it all was a story of love that made me smile.

It was beautiful to watch the journey and chemistry as the relationship developed between Ralph and Candace. Can Ralph overcome his guilt and in doing so forge a future with Candace?

These characters were so easy to relate too, the story was beautifully written and if this book is anything to go by, then Ms. Madison has another winning series on her hand.

Great story

LOVED the story… plot, characters and language is exactly what I like and leaves you wanting more, but the voices that read story…. Female is great… male…. Dude has never heard a moaning female in his life… kills the mood real fast, otherwise really recommend listening or reading to anyone that enjoys romance with a spice 😍
