Super easy to understand

I love that this book is not some woo-woo trading science that only pros can understand. The author translates all strategies, techniques, and explanations into easy-to-understand terms and words. This makes it so much easier for me to believe that I can use what I learned and really implement all that knowledge and make serious money with options trading and stock marketing investing (later on). The author doesn't talk too much about stocks, but I see he has another book on stock marketing investing, so I will probably pick up that one to learn more.

I am exciteeed!

I have never thought that options trading or any kind of trading for that matter would be for me. I thought that I had to be an absolute expert trader if I wanted to become successful at this craft, and only a true master could make money with options trading. I changed my opinion after listening to this audiobook.
This book opened my eyes to many different things, including an opportunity to start living life on my own terms instead of just spinning the wheels in a 9 to 5 career that leads nowhere. I am very excited to start implementing what I learned from this book, and I am looking forward to learning so much more!

Understand the power of trading

Most people think that options trading is a complicated subject you have to master and become a pro before implementing anything. NOT TRUE! And this book is a pure example of how to make this subject accessible and possible to almost anybody.

For beginners and new investors

This book is too simple for advanced investors but perfect for beginners who are just warming their feet up in this field. It has all the explanations, portfolio management, creation advice, and step-by-step implementation strategies needed. I will be implementing those and reporting how well they do.
More than that, I really like the sections with trading hacks and mistakes most beginners make that I should avoid. Very helpful and important advice, in my opinion. Eventually, my goal could be to become a full-time trader, and I hope that this book will be a decent start.

All I needed was in this audiobook

I have no experience with stocks, dividends, or options, so this was a completely new field to me. But I must say that I am pretty excited after listening to this audiobook. It wasn’t the strongest in terms of the amount of knowledge. It’s just over 3 hours long. But the practical side of it was really impressive. I have already made over $50 in a single day! Not bragging, just explaining. And I wanted to share this small success with everyone who wants to invest in their knowledge and pick a great starter for their options trading and financial success journey!

no... way. I wouldn't trust the 5 star reviews

1st off...
pick any 4 of the FIVE star reviewers of this book and notice they all read the same 20 or so books and gave similar vague reviews.
Alarm bells right there. But aside from pumping your own work, the book is legitimately lacking -- zero stars.
Narrator is GREAT.

I'm an experienced trader looking for a book to give to someone who is starting out...
this is NOT that book.
I don't see how all of these reviews failed to mention the following:
The Author skips right over and never explains the basics. Like the differences between
-Buying to Open, Selling to Open, Buying to close, selling to close a position.
-Explaining Option Greeks... (he mentions it, but never explains it as if the listener should already know Delta and Gamma)
-Single leg vs Two legged Vs. Multi legged... he just jumps to Multi leg assuming the listener already knows Bear/Bull Spreads)
-He says things like "Have a good strategy" without really giving an example of any.

Short Review: The author uses a lot of lingo and words but never BEGINS to explain the fundamentals.. the strategies are long winded buzz words without discussing actual strategies, the hacks are 100% laughable.
Basically he uses a lot of words without ever really saying anything.

Long Review (and a plea to remove this book and validate these reviews
(Legit Reader reviews ALWAYS mention the Narrator... these all lacked that):

Chapter 1 explaining calls and puts using the most complicated examples, and the math was even wrong . An example of 500 options would equal 50,000 shares, not 500 as stated in the book.
Chapter 2 Tries to explain differences between European and American Options in one of the most confusing matters I've ever heard. Which really should've been left until at least ONE style was explained. like: now that you know American, the difference with European is_______"
Trying to explain the differences between two things without explaining the basics of either is like describing the difference between Quantum Propulsion and Warp Drive in Chapter 1 of "Advanced Propulsion Theory"

Then it just jumps to:
"Chapter 3.... An Iron Condor uses a bull pit spread and a bear credit spread. it's the same as an Iron butterfly, it's like a straddle with defensive wings."
(none of the terms in that sentence were explained before or after this statement.)

these are loosely quoted:
"For ABC: You buy a call and sell a put with the same expiration, if you think it will go up with the possibility of it falling- this is a great way to make profits."

(are the calls ITM? OTM? ATM? How about the Puts? Don't you have to OWN the underlying stock to sell puts? What strike prices vs. stock price?)

"For XYZ: you buy a put and sell a put if you expect the underlying stock to rise but not exceed the strike price and the put is their to protect your losses minus the premium.
Covered calls are commonly used by the elderly in a tax free environment and a great way to generate income."

-No examples are given. He uses terms like straddle and defensive wings without defining it first, as if he's talking to someone in the know.

I find it exceptionally hard to believe that every review had the same vague satisfaction and opinion of the book.
And not one person mentioned that he didn't define terms he used loosely to describe more complex Options Strategies. There is no way a person would be ready to Trade an Iron Condor without knowing what a straddle is first. There's no way.
Not to mention they all shared the same cadence of writing, tone and exclamation marks and all reviewed within the same 72 hours. 😉
I don't think they're fooling anyone.

Kudos to the narrator though.
But I bet he was confused, as it was clear he went back and re-added snippets as well.
Real reviews ALWAYS mention the narrator's performance... these barely mention he exists.

Valuable Information

Loved it! He gave resources that I didn't know existed. He gave great advice! He gave techniques to use when you don't have a lot of money, He explained how to avoid blowing your account. He explained different techniques to use for different situations. It was short and to the point, didn't waste time.

Written and narrated in an easy language

I love that this book is not filled with complicated sentences and difficult to understand terms because I have read many books like this and I was always disappointed. This one feels more like a conversation with a friend than a complex report, and I love that!

Not the easiest one for beginners

I see this book more as a complete guide than a beginner’s guide to options trading. It contains so much more than just foundational information. Great investment!

Just use it!

Practice beats meditation every day of the weak, and this book gives you enough knowledge to get the results you want. That's my opinion, of course, but I must say that I already made about $25 using these fundamental principles, and I think I can make so much more. Not much, but it was enough proof for me to say that there is something valuable in it.

Nice work

Gerry did a fantastic job putting this book together, and I think every Trader who is passionate about the stock market should own it. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the structure, which can be improved.

I liked it but...

To be honest, I feel like this book needs a little more editing. It bothered me in some places where the grammar just was not right. But the content was pretty decent, and it had much valuable information that I loved. Thank you!
