NOW I UNDERSTAND

I get it! My role as mother and as daughter. I see where I failed and where I thought I had but didn’t. I’ve gained insight into the problems I’ve had with the men in my life started with Dad, and I understand how men are affected by their mothers. Now, on to a better life due to understanding and embracing reality😊

Excellent resource

This is a very potent dive into the problems that occur in the mothering relationship and, most importantly, how to resolve them. I will listen to this multiple times.

Interesting Insights of a Mother’s Role in Development

I appreciate the information that is given without putting blame on Moms for everything not right with their offspring. A mother’s job is crucial and healthy, emotionally mature mother is the best. Yet in this fallen world, only God is perfect, so this book can be useful in changing patterns for growth.

Amazing how much our mothers mold who we become!

This was very interesting to me and helped me to better understand why I handle different aspects of my life the way I do. I still don't know if I will try to reestablish a relationship with my mother, if I can even make contact with her. Whether I do or not this has helped to understand how to go about changing parts of myself for the better.

Very helpful, practical but not overwhelming.

Having a narcissistic mum I found this quite helpful, practical but not overwhelming. A good one to share with my husband for issues that arise from both of our mothers.
