Meh, I would have liked the Hallmark movie better.
First let me say I love Hallmark movies. They are uncomplicated, short, sweet and to the point with a happy ending. Some so sweet you go into a sugar overload. When I watch Hallmark movies they are 2 hours of happiness, with commercial breaks. This was long, drawn out and at times boring to the point of I’d rather wash my dishes in silence than continue another chapter. Does this seem harsh considering my love of the Hallmark movies. I think not, had this been a movie I would have enjoyed the 2 hours and moved on to whatever else was on the DVR. Long and short for once a movie would have been better.

Good mystery, yet sweet and lighthearted
If you're a fan of Hallmark movies, you'll like this story. I loved the Shepherd sisters and family dynamics, the small-town setting, and the sub plots. The narration was easy to listen to and understand. I like forward to the next Shepherd Sisters mystery.
