Directive language faults.

Using directive language while working with individuals with PTSD or victims of trauma can be dangerous. This book uses words and phrases such as, "you must, never, you have to understand, you have to, the patient must, that can make you perfect, and simply make peace with it." EMDR is an inviting experience that encourages the patient to understand themselves and make their own choices, NOT be directed to chose or experience. Although the book has great content, I was disappointed with the language used, especially for being published in 2019.

awful audio book.

incoherent from start to finish.
sounds like a huge amount lost in translation.
brutal narration and couldn't make head nor tail of the delivery on a topic that i am familiar with.

it sounds like it was translated from another language and wasn't edited to be coherent in English.

Not what I expected

I didn’t feel this really gave me an insight into the therapy. Seemed pretty basic and the audio voice was terrible.
