I think this audiobook is pretty informative.

I think this audiobook is pretty informative. It covers most of the common questions new parents have in two hours only, and I found it very straight to point and supportive. Emily Jeffers explains in detail all about your newborn and is an excellent reference if something comes up, and no one is immediately there to help. I will buy this print version for ALL of my friends and family with their firstborn.

There is so much valuable information

There is so much valuable information in this audiobook! I highly recommend this for first-time parents and even those that need a refresher. As a first time mom, even with everything, everybody told me I felt it was essential to read/listen up and educate myself on the first year of a baby. This book really helped. You'll be informed and less tendency to be caught off guard by certain things during your child's first year when you've listened to this book. I expect I will be referring to it a lot during the first year.

This audiobook helped my husband

This audiobook helped my husband and I (who have never been near a newborn in our lives) to feel comfortable and confident as new parents. Seriously, people, a lifesaver. Don't start parenthood with the anxiety of the unknown - this audio edition will help you understand sleep, feeding, what's normal, what's not for every stage and set up healthy routines from the start. We read and listened to it over and over again as we navigated the first few days.

Love this audio guide into parenting baby...

Love this audio guide into parenting baby... I have used it constantly since my son's birth. I like the way it is organized by topic and then by questions. Also, the info seems as evidenced-based as it can be, and reasonable advice. I would highly recommend it as a first-time mom.

Super helpful

Super helpful going over everything in the first year. Just wish that I would have bought it before my baby arrived. I must also add that this audiobook is way better at answering questions than the internet where nothing is really verified. I love this audio and will recommend it to any new mom.

This is an awesome audiobook!

This is an awesome audiobook! I highly recommend this audio, especially to first-time mommies. It is very detailed and thorough. I am a mom of 3 currently pregnant with our 4th. I try to get books like these to not only help me keep up with baby appointments and things of that nature, but I think it is something beautiful to give each child when they are becoming parents.

I have followed the routines

I have followed the routines of this audio for all my 3 children and it just WORKS. It’s amazing!!! If you stick to it and at the same time are flexible with it, then it works and does wonders. At 1 month old ALL my children were already sleeping through the night on their own (7pm to around 5am). Babies will NOT starve with this routine. On the contrary, your baby won’t cry much because of you follow it you will be feeding him/her right when he/she is getting hungry, you will put him/her to sleep right when he/she is getting tired...that’s the beauty of it that parents and baby get synchronized.

For me it has been the best gift I got form a friend during my first pregnancy. It gives me peace of mind, I know exactly what my babies need and what to expect. I know exactly what is a good time to go out the house, run an errand, have visitors, etc. It’s just perfect for an organized person like me.

Great reference guide.

Could not believe so much has changed since my last baby. I'm already referring and re-referring this audiobook. I bought the book based on recommendations but was positively surprised by how comprehensive the coverage of topics is. It covers not only the top questions but also a few key topics, such as breastfeeding and sleeping. Great reference guide.

I would highly recommend it 😊

As a new Mum of a 6 month old, I couldn’t find anything to help me switch off and relax once my little girl was asleep but this all changed once I found this audiobook. I’d seen the authors blogs in my Mother and Baby magazine so I recognised her name when looking for a book and I thought I’d give it a go. I’m so glad I did. At the end of each day (especially tough days) sitting to have a cup of tea and listening to this book was so relocatable and incredibly uplifting. I would highly recommend it 😊

It’s a great audio edition to use as a resource. I tried to read the entire book when I was pregnant, and it was info overload. Now that my daughter is born and refer to it all the time, and I love it — a well organized, classic book.

Great guide to what to expect and how your baby

Great guide to what to expect and how your baby should be developing. A lot of really helpful medical and developmental information without a lot of anecdotal add-ins - just enough to give a sense of real advice and experience. Clear and to the point. I loved that this was written by medical professional and mom. Glad I purchased!

This audiobook to be beneficial

I am a pediatrician and found this audiobook to be beneficial and easy to understand while keeping in line with medical research and recommendations from the AAP. This book was recommended to me while I was in residency and found his advice spot on! Logically organized and comprehensive. Answers many frequently asked questions and dispels common myths. Emily Jeffers book gives clear guidelines regarding normal newborn. Would recommend to any new parent or pediatrician in-training.

I own a printed version of this book.

I own a printed version of this book. I love the organization of this book and how everything is in specific sections, and I know I’ll be able to find answers fast when I have a particular question. Besides, I got this audio to have my hands free to listen to this book while doing something. As a first-time mom, I don’t know much, and this book has everything you need to know.

I highly recommend it!

I have my first child, and even though I have a lot of experience with kids, I really don't know what to expect. Just the simple things like how often, when and how to give a bath. What to do with the umbilical nub and how to care for it. This audiobook has it all. It will not make you an expert mom, but will at least will put you at ease. I highly recommend it!

This audio guide was a life saver.

This audio guide was a life saver. Every question we had about anything and everything, this book had/has the answer to. Not only that, but it’s all in terms anyone can understand. Quick and simple guidance. Would highly recommend this book to all new parents, even just as a reference or something to look over when you need a read. It’s perfect for helping you not freak out over the little things, or to help reassure that you are doing something correctly.
