Publisher's Summary

Strange things happen when the clock strikes 12....

It is said that dreams are harmless, that they are nothing more than the meaningless fancies of an unconscious mind. It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. This, of course, is something we tell ourselves when we wake up screaming in the dead of night. We repeat the mantra in order to bring ourselves back to reality, in order to remind ourselves that there is nothing to fear.

After all, nightmares can’t escape our minds, can they?

This book is merely a collection of dark and twisted dreams, so listeners should know that there is nothing to be afraid of. When thoughts of these stories cause them to wake up screaming in the dead of night or when their minds run wild imagining the hideous abominations that lurk in this book, they need only to repeat that one mantra: It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. It’s only a dream. And perhaps, if they’re lucky, the nightmares won’t escape.

The very best of Vincent V. Cava: "The Wendall Lane Diaries", "Neptune’s Fancy", "A Favor for a Favor", "At the Patio Door", and so much more.

Just go to YouTube

For those who don’t know Mr. Creepy Pasta has his own YouTube and you can find all the stories on his YouTube. So you don’t have to spend money or an audible point. Mr. Creepy Pasta is a great narrator and some of the audio is just straight from the YouTube and it makes the quality inconsistent because some of the audio is from his older stories.
Last thing I want to mention is Vincent V Cava’s writing. This man knows how to make a good story when he has enough time. When he had his shorter stories on there they just felt cliché. They had generic plot twist and one of them was just gross out horror if you can call it horror and not a comedic story(which I hope was his intention). With his longer stories on the other hand such as “Picture This” and “ Neptune Fancy” felt original and if you ask me movie material.

Overall I’d recommend it and Vincent V Cava is an underrated author and he has some amazing stories in the this book despite the few lows in it you won’t be disappointed by his other stories.

Good but a rerelease

While I love the story’s I wish it would have said that more then half of the stories were published in a previous publication that was released either way worth a listen

Don’t let the first story turn you off.

The first story is a little intense, but this is a great group of tales. So scary, some funny, but some have a real got ya ending.

Well done

It would be difficult to find a better example of the genre than this collaboration between popular author and well-known narrator.
Chock full of some of Cava’s best content, it’s a solid addition to any audiobook collection.

ok

meh. In one particular instance, the music really detracted from the story telling. Seemed like a lot of disparate threads without any sort of unity other than the singular narrator. It seemed like there was a lack of continuity with production.

I couldn't stop listening.

I recommend this collection of stories to any mature adult that enjoys the Horror genre. I finished this in one afternoon and was left feeling scared and surprised by each tale. However, I think some were meant to be funny. Warning: There's cursing and filthy language meant to disgust and unnerve listeners. I wouldn't advise young children or conservative adults to listen to all of the stories. Give this book a chance before you keep scrolling.
