Not bad

It was slow in the beginning but picked up after a few chapters. I figured out who it was half way but still enjoyed the book.

Brilliant

Kept me on the edge of my seat and constantly wondering what would be next. Author Gemma Rogers is definitely talented and I also love the narrator, Georgia! She pulls the story together. I couldn't believe the ending of this book!! Wow

Original storyline, somewhat predictable.

I really enjoyed the novel, though it was predictable at times. The author did drop subtle hints throughout in an attempt to mislead the reader, and there was definitly a 50/50 about the main 'villain' in the end. I really liked the back and forth between past and present in a controlled way, chapter to chapter, versus just randomly flipping between them. Lastly, while I really enjoy different accents of the world, I, living in the Southern US, found the narrators accent almost mesmerizing. At times I would get hung up on words and get lost in the narration, versus listening like I should. Might be a personal issue, but not sure that I've run into that before. Absolutely nothing personal against Georgia Maguire, she was terrific! In the end, good read, good narration, would recommend.

I still enjoyed the story but I knew what had happened by the middle of the book.

Good listen

I enjoyed the book but I don't like figuring it out on my own long before the book ends. I thought I knew who the "villian" of the story was but then I realized I was wrong & quickly realized who it really was. But I love listening to Georgia Maguire narrator, that made it a really nice book also. It is worth the listen but if you're a mystery buff you might figure it out too.

It was an interesting read! Very good.

I really enjoyed this book and would recommend it. I get bored with some books easily and this book kept the story moving fast - very good.

Slow beginning

I’m enjoying the author’s books. Her beginnings in every book have been really slow but toward the middle, she actually gets into her story. In fact when I first start a book - I use it to fall asleep. But her story comes to life and there’s no way to stop reading. The characters are somewhat developed but play a minor part until the end when she pulls it all together. I gave the book 5 stars but my suggestion to her is to work on getting the beginning a bit more interesting without being boring. The narrator is excellent - her performance is very convincing. The story itself is excellent - just work on the beginnings. ❤️❤️❤️

It wasn't awful...

The narration was very good. The story held my attention and had really good character development, but what a WEIRD concept!
I didn't dislike it, but can't really recommend it either, and I'm glad it was included/free with my membership

Gripping, very very addictive!!

Firstly, I finished this book in 48 hours so prepare to be addicted! The story unfolds and very cleverly twists and turns and just as you think you know how it will play out, it changes and you’re sent off on another thought!

I found myself thinking back to certain characters and their entrances into the story to determine if I thought they were responsible! Ha ha I felt like Jessica Fletcher!

I love Gemma’s no-nonsense style and lack of flowery-ness. She gets to the point but in a very descriptive way so that you get a great vision in your head- and Georgia Maguire narrated the book perfectly. She has a voice that splits into characters so effortlessly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book! I would highly recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a book to enthral and captivate you!!

A book for older teenagers

Not really a ‘who done it’ as it was pretty obvious! I feel that the writing and the story were more suitable for young people. I got frustrated about the main character’s lack of perception and common sense.

Exciting thriller

I found this unputdownable! Even though I did guess the plot halfway through I found this easy listening and exciting, also interesting to hear the author talking at the end.

great book!

Really enjoyed this book. Great twist, too. Don't turn off straight after as there is a chat between author and narrator, which was such a nice touch.

Pretty uneventful

I neither loved or hated this book. It's a kinda neutral listen. Not much happens really, even boring in some parts, especially the daily workings of the real estate office, that just don't add to the story. It's like filler. Fairly predictable plot. An easy listen, narration is pleasant, but not what I'd consider a thriller.

A Wowser

A.H

This Book had me hooked from the very beginning.

First of all, I enjoyed its Narrator.

Secondly, it left me guessing for quite some time, of which person/s came under my suspicion.

Fleshy characters, well thought out, yet not too large an ensemble , in which to get lost.

The First Book I have enjoyed by this Author and will be looking for more.

Interesting concept of a virginity party

Not something I would have conceived of but may just happen. The setting of the RE office was a strange choice as well, but the story was woven effectively. I knew the killer by chapter 24. An interesting read.
