Publisher's Summary

Maxine Chandler and Mya Rivers were once the best of friends, sisters by choice. But distance and a series of misunderstandings came between them. Now, a fifteen-year class reunion cruise to the Caribbean could renew their powerful bond—just when they need it most.

After heartbreak and tragedy, Maxi doesn't expect her shipboard romance with former high school rebel Christopher Chandler to be more than a sizzling distraction, but then he offers her a gift so profound she can't refuse it—even when it leaves her vulnerable to crushing loss. Mya, on the other hand, seems blessed with a perfect marriage, home, and beautiful twins. But Mya's work is taking over her life and another woman might be taking her husband. . .

As each couple struggles with the limits of love, loyalty, and trust, Mya and Maxi reclaim a deep and abiding friendship. . .one that will inspire them with courage to face the future, whatever it may bring.

BJ.is the G.O.A.T

I bought this book years ago and I know I've read it at least three times maybe even four but when I saw it available on Audible, I couldn't resist listening to it again. Tomorrow Perfect Fit will be available and I can't wait to listen to it. I love me some Brenda Jackson, she my favorite author. There are others that I really like but BJ is the G.O.A.T. Although I remembered this story from beginning to end, Leon Nixon's voice was smooth as butter and brought the story to life. Even if you're like me and have read this one already, do yourself a favor and listen to it, you won't be disappointed.

Just Meh!

Story seemed rushed, no real suspense and the sex story line was too predictable! I normally love Rena’s Jackson’s work but not this one

Perfect!

What a wonderful listen! Leon Nixon sealed the deal with his narration. Leave it to Brenda Jackson to tie two couples into one book and manage to give them both the attention the readers needed. Bravo per usual!

Love Brenda Jackson

I've literally read every book Brenda Jackson has ever written. I love her work, but this book frustrated me a little. Garrett was selfish as hell. Their situation was a little unrealistic in my opinion. Overall it was a good story and had a happy ending, but every time it came to Garrett and Mya I would get annoyed. Can't wait to see what comes out next.

WASTED CREDIT

The story line was predictable making the story even more boring.

The intimate parts were so corny I had to fast forward thru them.

For some reason, the author felt it was important to mention that the characters were African American through out the story. I’ve never read/listened to a book that continually made reference to the race of the characters.

The narrator tried to change his voice for different people but they all sounded the same making it hard to follow with who said what.

I won’t be listening to any more books from this author.

Couldn't finish this one.

Too trite and predictable. Male narrator was snooze-worthy. I hope that is not marketed as a Christian book. The suthor mentioned church a few times, and quoted some Bible verses, but the characters actions are not Christian-like!
