Story
Teens control the fate of America in the fourth and final book in the New York Times best-selling Unwind dystology by Neal Shusterman. Proactive Citizenry, the company that created Cam from the parts of unwound teens, has a plan: to mass produce rewound teens like Cam for military purposes. And below the surface of that horror lies another shocking level of intrigue: Proactive Citizenry has been suppressing technology that could make unwinding completely unnecessary.

Marco and the other Animorphs have managed to find out where the Yeerks are planning to build their next ground-based Kandrona. That's a good thing. But the location is supposed to be somewhere near the North Pole. That's a bad thing. The Animorphs know that the Yeerks are a "cold-blooded" species, but this is a little nuts! Who wants to be near the North Pole without Arctic morphs - and wearing spandex?

Publisher's Summary
It's been eight months since all the adults disappeared. Gone. They've survived hunger. They've survived lies. But the stakes keep rising, and the dystopian horror keeps building. Yet despite the simmering unrest left behind by so many battles, power struggles, and angry divides, there is a momentary calm in Perdido Beach. But enemies in the FAYZ don't just fade away, and in the quiet, deadly things are stirring, mutating, and finding their way free. The Darkness has found its way into the mind of its Nemesis at last and is controlling it through a haze of delirium and confusion. A highly contagious, fatal illness spreads at an alarming rate. Sinister, predatory insects terrorize Perdido Beach. And Sam, Astrid, Diana, and Caine are plagued by a growing doubt that they'll escape - or even survive - life in the FAYZ. With so much turmoil surrounding them, what desperate choices will they make when it comes to saving themselves and those they love?

Great 👍
Michael Grant 's gone series is fantastic. I have to say that I have grown to like the narrator much better than I did in a previous review of an earlier book.

Read this Series
The Gone Series is an exciting story from the first book all the way through the series. I could not stop listening to this book. Kyle McCarley narration is how I found this series and I am glad to say I did. Michael Grant wrote a very interesting story. While the premise is copy from other ideas I have read, heard, and seen. They way the story unfolds is very enjoyable. World building for the story is very well written.

great, but one issue
Sometimes the guy reading would mess up what voices he did for each character, usually not a problem but sometimes it would happen during an important moment I'm the plot and it can take you away from the story for a little.
