EVERY EPISODE ENDS WITH AN ALARM TONE.
Ideally dull stories. Read by someone with the perfect voice and cadence to knock you out. And then it ends with this cute little ring tone that wakes you right back up, then if you have auto play on, it plays it again for the beginning of the next episode. I don't know what genius decided they’d church-up a podcast for sleeping with a cheerful wake-up ring tone, but they desperately missed the mark.
Good reader, I’ll be looking for her in something produced by someone who knows what their intended audience is.

The Voice
The woman narrating speaks like William Shatner as Capt. Kirk. She pauses at odd jerky intervals, I found THAT so annoying that it stressed me out.

Not bad overall
Just not my thing. Most of the episodes are too short to truly call asleep too. If you let them play one after the other you then have to listen to her speak about her supporters and how to support her. Ruins the vibe of actually trying to sleep. Great stories and calming voice, though. Just best for calming down and not as background noise.

I love it
I have so much going on right now and my busy mind keeps me from getting decent sleep. Since discovering this podcast, I’m sound asleep within half an hour. It’s exactly what I need to quiet my troubled mind. The reader’s voice and cadence of speaking is clear and soothing. My nightly habit.

Author’s voice
Her diction and pauses are not calming or soothing. Good story though
In order for sleep stories to allow the brain to rest and fall asleep, much detail and pleasing voice is necessary to lead the sleeper to rest

Sounded Robotic and Stopped A Lot .
I didn't enjoy listening to this at all as Taesha sounded more like a robot speaking and she paused a lot so if I did try and relax into the story I wasn't able to do so.
I couldn't even listen to 5 minutes of this episode let alone all the episodes.
Also the music was too loud so I could not hear Taesha very well and thought she was whispering.

Can't hear a word they're saying
There's music in the background that drowns out the voice completely, couldn't hear a single word, so got frustrated and turned it off barely 2 mins into it.

Wonderful but doesn't aid sleep
I love this podcast and the narrator's voice is wonderful, and it is relaxing, however, it unfortunately doesn't help me sleep as I feel like the pace of the stories and the stories themselves are not the soothing sleep stories I'm used to.

Perfect’
With the intention to fall asleep in mind Taesha reads these books perfectly. One story I listen to a lot is North and South. I really wanted to know what happened in the rest of the story so thought I would download the full audiobook. I listened to a sample with Juliet Stevenson as the reader and it wasn’t relaxing at all. So much emotion and inflection in her voice and it was then I realised just how perfectly Taesha reads these books. Going through menopause, insomnia has been a regular occurrence but I almost always fall asleep by the end. The only thing I would change is the music at the end. This wakes me up. So I set the timer to switch off just a few seconds before. Thank you so much Taesha!

I listen to this podcast every night whilst falling asleep now. I find the tone of voice and everything just perfect - it's quiet, soothing but still interesting. Thanks for this excellent work.

Unlistenable
A really terrible, robotic and characterless, voice.
It's incredible that a human being talks like this. No!

Not a relaxing voice
This is not relaxing at all. The way this person talks is both soulless and jolting.
