• Summary

  • John and Al were born in the early 80s, met in the early 90s and now live on opposite sides of the world. Each week they meet virtually to make each other laugh, reminisce and throw around half-baked ideas. Don’t Praise The Machine is a record of these chats, and an excuse to have them. Each episode is a ponderous excursion through everyday life, philosophical quandaries, popular culture and nostalgia.

Alexander Holland lives in Berlin. He makes electronic music under the name Des Meegan and likes running, birding and optimising.

John Maloney lives in Melbourne. He is yet another barrister. He likes exploring, writing and having baths.
