Publisher's Summary

An elite group of billionaire sociopaths is unleashing a cyber attack on America. They intend to break the nation. The goal is depopulation. They have now gone from beta-testing to fully operational, and the world will never be the same.

Welcome to the apocalypse....

USA Today best-selling author, Amazon All-Star Award Winner, and Top 10 Sci-Fi writer, Ryan Schow, presents a powerful new series that will hold you captive well into the night!

Population Zero is not just a weapon. It is the objective.

When internet talk-show sensation, Slater Corrigan, finds himself on a collision course with The Aatrox Group, he realizes that the nation is in grave danger. Even though this isn’t the first time Slater has played chicken with psychopaths, he has never met a monster quite like Johan Schwein for a man this vile tends to keep to the shadows.

Until now....

As Slater, his brother Scout, and the Italian firecracker, Gabriella Esposito, learn about the might and power of Population Zero, they are left to wonder, is this the mother of all cyber attacks, or is the population of America about to be culled?

As the power grid fails and the very fabric of society begins to unravel, a mixed group of survivors will attempt to both solve and rectify a murder while navigating through a lawless, apocalyptic landscape in search of safety and answers. But can they endure a world pitched into darkness and chaos?  Will those they love most survive the fall?  And what kind of a war will they incite when sorrow turns to revenge?

Find out these answers and more in Book One of the explosive new trilogy that early readers are calling, “Ryan’s most prolific work to date!” and “An astounding effort that succeeds on every level.”

Kevin Pierce is phenomenal as usual

I know this will sound crazy considering the genre of fiction this book falls into—one that I have voraciously consumed for the past 3 years— but I just can’t enjoy the views that are in this book. Not after what “patriots” like the main protagonists put our country through this year.

I’ve listened to every available audiobook from Ryan Schow. I’m truly sad that this might be my last. I might have enjoyed it prior to the January 6, 2021 insurrection. But our country has changed since then, and so have I. 2016 might go down as the last time I voted in the R column.

Thought provoking, suspenseful and full of action

Population Zero is full of suspense and action as well as being thought provoking. I messed up my entire day today because I didn’t want to stop listening to it last night. Around 4am, I finally had to turn it off in order to get some sleep. I love Kevin Pierce and could listen to his voice forever. I love most of the characters, especially Scout and Gabriella, and could see myself interacting with them. Ryan Schow did a great job describing them to the point where I could imagine some of their thoughts and actions. Scout’s conversations with Goliath crack me up!

The only thing that gave me any cause for concern is some of the things Errol says. I’m a strong believer and follower of Christ, and to me, some of his words and sayings could be seen as blasphemous. I don’t have an issue with others having different beliefs; I just don’t necessarily like to hear about it in detail. However, it seems that after a certain point, the author stopped giving us more insight into his thoughts and turned to other things. It did help me understand Errol’s eccentricity and overall, the awesomeness of the entire book helped me overlook it.

Disappointing and boring

I did not care for this book. Current events and politics is not what I thought this book was about. I will be returning it

Too much preaching, not enough story

Seriously every chapter is from a different perspective, I just got frustrated reading this. Add in all the right wing conspiracy preaching it was unlistenable.

One-dimensional story that is not a cyber thriller

This book is mainly angry-white-man revenge porn. The "cyber" aspects feel copied from Wikipedia and do nothing to enhance the story, as evidenced by how quickly they are pushed to the side. The narrator is okay, but his attempt at a German accent is distracting.

Exceptional Story

This first book sets the bar for the series very high. I definitely recommend.

Schow, hits a home run again!!!!

After reading this 1st book, I know this will be Ryan’s best series yet and that’s saying a lot. Through out the entire read I felt like Ryan was setting the scene for the series. This book was good but I can’t wait to read the next one. Gabriella quickly became my favorite character. Battling her own demons within while physically battling those who want what isn’t theirs!

Kevin, fantastic job once again bringing Ryan’s story to life.

Ryan you are quickly becoming my favorite post apocalyptic author.

Do not buy these books! 3rd book kills everyone!

I will never ever buy another book by Ryan Schow! He literally wrote a trilogy that halfway through the third book he killed off every single person violently, including the children. I cannot believe Kevin Pierce associated himself with this crap! do not waste your money on this bullshit. note to self... read the reviews before you buy, in the future.

Good start to a new series

This book is a different twist on the way the "end of the world as we know it" could come about. Action, interesting characters and plenty of blood and guts. Ryan Schow had my attention on this one and I am ready for the next installment.
