MARVELOUS INFORMATION FOR EVERY TEEN!

5 STARS! Every parent should have their teen listen to this. It is full of everyday life skills that should be taught in our school system. Our world is challenging at times, and I can only imagine how complicated things will be when my kids grow up and go on thereon. As a father of three, I direct my children with the best advice possible. I enjoyed this audio because if you take this advice practical, it will help your teen through the challenging transitioning stage to adulthood.

Easily broken down for teens

So happy to see a book like this available. Wish I had it when I was a teenager. Not all teens have someone to help them learn the skills taught in this book and the way the chapters are broken up and detailed out make it easy for a teen to listen to and begin taking actions on. I’ve already told my daughter I’d like her to listen to this and we can work through the chapters together. Highly recommended for teens who need to start gaining life skills

I wish I had this book 4 years ago!

Your teenage years can be the hardest part of your life because you're still a kid in your mind but your body and society are killing you to grow up. It's a huge learning process where you have to adapt to adult life very quickly. This book is a cheat guide to making your life 10x easier. It deals with important issues like earning your own money all the way down to personal hygiene when those hormones start to kick in.

A highly recommended book for parent and teen

It is definitely a book every parent or legal guardian with a teenager should listen to as well as give to them, because not only does it nicely explain many of the common modern life skills children should know but it also explains why our children behave the way they do, such as being rebellious and such. I always argued that it was because they fought they were old enough that they started to think they had the right to talk back to us, but it was actually something deeper, something totally unrelated to disrespecting us. As soon as my niece started keeping her surroundings clean and talking to me about her problem, I knew the audiobook worked for her. My hope is that she will continue to improve.

Must-read book for teens

This is a great book that I would have loved to have when I was a teenager.

Every teenager (or parents of teens) should listen to this book, as it contains a lot of useful tips and good advice that will prepare teens to better face their future and adulthood.

I remember how difficult it was for me to learn by myself how to manage money and plan my meals on a budget when I started university, as these are essential skills that nobody will teach you...

I especially liked the message from the author at the end of the book, very helpful and full of positive vibes!

Lots of good tidbits!

I gave this book to my teenage daughter who doesn’t like getting suggestions from mom and dad. :) She listened to the whole thing all the way through and even took notes! Hoping it gives her some guidance as she starts to mature and become more independent. Thank you!

What teens need to know in one brilliant book!

At last! Here's a book that teens can use to learn the essential life skills they need AND keep their parents happy. There's so much useful information packed in here that it's like mini-survival guide for life. Teens can get practical tips on everything from how to keep their room tidy, ways to earn extra money, how to shop wisely, and a there's also a great chapter on car maintenance. There's a lot of info to help teens deal with emotions and growing-up pains too, making this a go-to source for all their problems. Parents should also listen to this book if they want to learn how to help their teenage kids to become more independent. The narration is excellent too and brings it all together in a really entertaining listen. Simply loved it!

A Marvelous Book

This is an absolutely marvelous book for teens as well as anyone involved in parenting children. It deals with all the frustrations that occur during those complicated years between pre-teen and growing into a responsible young adult. The author uses a succinct easy style of writing that gets to the point without lecturing. She discusses the concerns of teens interactions and behavior toward their parents or carers and gives examples for handling situations in a way that creates less stress for both. If you're a parent or carer, this book will give you some great insights into how to avoid conflict with your children and how to enable them to become confident resourceful adults. You're there to support them as they learn to take care of themselves. In each chapter, Rebecca covers specific problems and gives examples of how to overcome them, such as (earning money, budgeting, emotions, personal hygiene and self-care, staying positive, being social, and more). I really recommend this book. It's awesome!

Very helpful!

The advice given by Rebecca in this great little book is very simple and easily digestible. Especially for young developing minds, who often ‘know stuff better’ than their parents.
As a parent I definitely learnt over the years that my words fall on deaf ears, but as soon as someone else gives my kids the same good advice, it is suddenly a revelation 😂
I hope it helps many parents to get some messages across, and many teens to learn some useful life skills.

A Complete Teen Life Kit

Teenage can be rough for the parent and for the teen, what with the seemingly uncontrollable emotions and unmet expectations. I found this book a useful to have. You can use it for or in addition to some of those conversations that are so hard to have with your teen. They can't make friends? This book will help. They aren't good with money? No problem, just give them the book. Emotions too hard to manage? Yes, this book deals with that too. I highly recommend it.

I recommend this book to teenagers or parents of teenagers because this advice can go a long way with helping teens develop into young adults. The financial advice is very valuable also!

Good resource for teens

I think that this is a really useful audiobook that could be very helpful to teenagers who are going through difficult times and/or struggling to cope with their emotions.

The author has done a lot of research on the subject, covering a lot of ground that parents/carers don't want to have to repeat. I would recommend buying it for your teen.
