Chock full of herbal remedies for what ails you!

As an avid home gardener for my entire life, I learned a great deal about the historical significance of using herbs to treat dis-ease. I've applied many of the more common ones before but this book is an encyclopedia with usages for many I had never even heard of before. Must have information in uncertain times!

While I’m not an avid prepper, I do like to be prepared, and in these uncertain times I decided to learn about medicinal herbs and spices so I can stock up on some of these things just in case my family ever has a need in the future. It was both informative and helpful.

With the current health crisis, I selected this book to learn how to strengthen my immune system. I am a firm believer in the healing power of plants. The book reminds me how important it is to use them. It's great to see beneficial spices like cinnamon, turmeric, and clove included. The narrator's voice is also clear and appropriate for the subject.

Very informative and helpful home remedies

Potent Medicinal Herbs and Spices covers in detail common herbs and their benefits. I've always been a fan of spices such as ginger and turmeric to heal the body's digestive system and migraines. However, I had no idea how helpful cinnamon for fat loss.

Useful and Informative

As someone who is trying to get healthier all around, this book has been huge in helping me get more familiar with spices and herbs and how they might benefit my journey. Honestly, I had no idea that there were so many benefits and I knew some of the healthiest, but am surprised by some others. I'll be utilizing this many times in the future.

If you are looking to improve your health and you still want taste in your food start with the herbs and spices you can add to improve your health I have been using these spices for a while and I am noticing a real difference and food tastes better too!

Brilliant book - so clear and useful!

I just loved the overall comparison between synthetic medicine and the medicinal benefits of herbs and spices with the foundation in science. As well as detailing all the benefits, at the end of each herb review, details are given on what to avoid like high blood pressure etc, this is incredibly helpful.

The herbs, and benefits, to human health cover all the main things I was interested in, such as the herbs needed for the brain, skin, viruses, stress, and quite a few more. It means in this single book I am able to have a map to the herbal cures to all the common ailments…as well as a great tip on garlic and how to eat it without the lingering smell!

Really great book, not just very useful but also very easy to listen to.

Very helpful book

I got this book as I'm always interested in trying the non-medicine route when it comes to little aches and pains.
I already use quite a few herbs and spices listed in this book. For example, turmeric, coriander, garlic, ginger and I drink camomile tea also.

The author has put together a great list of herbs and spices and has given tips for use based on research talking about the origins of each herb and spice and their benefits.
Great little book to keep handy!

Spice up your life!

I am passionate about what goes into my body (as well as those in my family), and for this reason, I have a vested interest in herbs and spices and the benefits thereof. My favourites are cinnamon, garlic and tumeric. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I've learnt a lot and have so many new found ideas of how to incorporate the herbs and spices I never knew much about.

Informative and Helpful!

The book gives insight into herbs and species that can provide the body with it’s needed nutrients. Medicinal herbs and spices are beneficial to the body, Many of the herbs in the book have been a while back, but most people do not use them. Still, the book helps remind me of the importance of using them to get the maximum for my health which is a lot better than modern ingridients and reducing the cause of allergy. The book gives a guide on how to consume herbs in a beneficial proportion.

I love this! 🌿

Very good information

I absolutely love cooking with herbs and spices,. Thats how I came to purchase this audiobook. I love garlic, ginger, turmeric. Its really good how the medical benefits are well researched and explained in detail with all the spices. Now I'm going to source and purchase most of these as there are clear benefits for health as well as being super tasty . Now to find a bigger spice rack!

Evidence based approach ticks all the boxes

I grew up in a household where unless something was peer reviewed and verified by 57 different metanalyses, it couldn't possibly be true.

As I've grown older I've learned that things aren't as black or white when it comes to your health, and I've found a lot of value in plant based medical approaches for various ailments over the years.

Great to see things like cinnamon, turmeric and clove covered in here because those are the 3 that have benefitted me the most.
