couldn't sit through.

This is a good check list. Sadly to say the narrator's tone was just impossible. I felt I was listening to a radio sports show. 🤨

Good book, horrible narration.

The information in the book is good, yet repetitive. The narrator apparently is unfamiliar with pronunciation of some words like tourniquet (pronounced in the book “turn-a-key”) among others. It would make my skin crawl hearing the mispronunciation and at times would take my focus off of the information so that I could try to figure out what he actually meant.

Listened to this at least six times.

Always nice to pick up more ideas. The author breaks it down for different scenarios from a tornado to economic collapse. Great for any level of prepping.

Awesome Ideas

Yet though I have a survivalist background as a rural raised, self-sufficient, Hunter, and fisherman. Army and Navy trained background, I discovered and was exposed to some thoughts that I had never thought of. Great source.

loved it!

Made up issues I hadn't thought of such as the legal use of weapons in self-defense and what the costs could be financially and emotionally.

Nice topic

Suggested resources for those looking to learn more about specific topics. This is a great audio0book for the uncertain spouse that you are trying to get on board with prepping. No scare tactics, no tin-foil hat stuff and it's not unbelievable.

Very basic and random.

I found the info in this book to be very basic and random, almost as if the author had collected info from a bunch of websites or articles and stuck them together to make a book.

there were a lot of random list of "top ten things you need to ..." which seemed like they were right out of an article from someone's blog. and a lot of the stuff seemed to get repeated.

I actually laughed near the end when they tried telling you how to make fire from sticks. no mention at all of the type of wood or anything. just basically "go rub two bits of wood together and put the ember in some bark and there's fire"... sorry to say folks it's not as simple as that.

The book may be of some use or interest to absolute beginners who have no clue about anything prepping or survival related but if you've ever even watched an episode of a Bear Grylls show then your knowledge will be greater than what you learn from this book.

Sorry to say I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.
