Publisher's Summary

Rule number one: Don't piss off the Sick Boys.

They're cruel. Reckless. Impossibly f--ked up.

The Sick Boys feed on the order they create. They rule Eastpoint University just as their families have for decades. But their power doesn't stop there. The three of them are heirs to some of the largest fortunes in the world, and behind that kind of wealth lies an underworld of corruption.

On the surface, they're perfect princes and he is their king. But underneath it all, they're filled with blood, lies, and secrets. With all of their connections, they have the power to crush anyone who gets in their way. But just because they're as warped as I am doesn't mean I'm going to give them a free pass.

Because I, Avalon Manning, bow to no one, and I live to break the f--king rules.

Contains mature themes.

Avalon Manning is my HERO

I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to for this one. I’m not sure whether it credits or discredits my opinion, but I read/listen a lotttt of romance & I feel that makes me a harsher critic than I’d be if I were just getting into the genre. That said, of all the female protagonists I’ve gotten to know, Avalon Manning may well be my favorite. Often, I feel (at least once) throughout a novel that I want to shake the female lead and be like “wake up you little moron” or “why is this chick being so stupid” - didn’t feel that way about Ava. She’s a bad b*tch through and through. The plot is solid - I like the Sick Boys and I like Dean. The sexual tension between Dean and Ava was something elseee - I loved it! Toward the end when the worst happens to Ava, I was walking around the house wringing my hands & repeatedly yelling in outrage & sadness, my animals were like, “lady....we talked about this...seek help,” but I mean...wow. When a storyline elicits that kind of gut-wrenching fear & anxiety, you know it’s good. Lucy Smoke - I want to be your friend. I cannot WAIT to listen to book 2 in this series. Book 3 just came out in the past 2 months and Audible, you better get with the program and get the audiobook available ASAP - please! I have a feeling I’ll be just as eager to dive into that one as I am for the 2nd installment! I will definitely be checking out other works by the author - I’m a fan!

Dark, Twisted, and Addicting!

This book is dark & twisted. It's basically a story of two psychos falling in love. This isn't some sweet romance born of a dark past; it's two people with dark pasts that embrace that darkness & keep walking its twisted path. The push & pull between these characters is deliciously torturous, & when they finally give in & come together, it is EPIC! The romantic tension & secrets make this a definite page-turner.

The narration is super well done. Both narrators bring these characters to life and let me experience a favorite in a whole new way!

Tough Bit$h!

Wow, finally a female lead who doesn’t give up ever. It was heart wrenching finding out her past and hurt my heart, but that’s what good books do. They make you feel. Their is rape and violence in the book so be warned.

Pretty Little Savage

Pretty Little Savage was the first book I've read by Lucy Smoke and I really enjoyed it. It is the first book in the series, and I can't wait to read the rest in this series when they are available.

Pretty Little Savage features dual points of view from Avalon and Dean. Avalon comes from basically nothing. She has to fight for her way. Her mom is not a good person, and wouldn't mind seeing Avalon hurt. She ends up at this prestigious school, but not sure of what the intentions of the school are for her future.

Dean is one of the head sons of the school they are attending and everyone follows the rules of him and his two friends. Avalon doesn’t follow anyone's rules especially rich boys. I love the banter between both Avalon and Dean in this book as he wants her to follow orders, and she fights him every step of the way. Avalon is a strong fighter and will fight her way out of any situation she gets in.

I really enjoyed this book, and can't wait to find out what happens in the next one.

I loved the narrators as well. It really brought this book to life!

Complete Chaos

This book is dark. This book is scary. This book is stomach turning. This book is also mysterious and deadly.

With all that said, you probably wouldn't think that this book is also hilarious at times.

Without a doubt this book was fantastic.

Thanks for sharing this devious masterpiece.

Ohemgeeeee

I honestly don’t even know where to start with this book… I guess first let’s start with the female narrator. The FMC of this book is supposed to be 18, and the narrator sounds like a 40-year-old woman. It’s super offputting and really takes you away from Howell an 18-year-old would speak. The guy narrator actually wasn’t bad which is the only reason I gave it to instead of one.

Now for the story. This girl was a b**ch. and I don’t need like a bad ass boss b**ch. Just a full on B. Halfway through the book I was waiting for the guys to finally put her in her place because she was annoying the shit out of me with her holier than thou attitude about everything. And it never got better.

And then the ending… I don’t want to give out the big spoiler but let’s just say I was not expecting that act to actually happen. I thought for sure the boys would get there before the horrific thing happened but nope there it is described in detail. Like wow. For real? I mean, I’m all for a good non/dub consent play... But this wasn't that. It was too far.
because of the narrators and then that awful ending I literally have no desire to read not only the rest of the saga but anything from this author.

Thank you, next.

I wish I could get a refunded

This was so immaturely written that I wish I could just delete it from memory, they are so stuck on trying to prove a point that I feel like I'm listening to children.
I'm so disgusting especially when there's a rape scene and no fucking warning ⚠️⚠️ complete fucken mess.

YES

I love when a woman is strong and doesn't put up with guys crap! The icing on the cake was that it was a long book. I am sick of buying audiobooks that are only 5 or 6 hours long with little to no character building. The performance was awesome as well. The reason I give four starts instead of five is because I like more passion and sex in rough books like this to balance all the anger but otherwise a great book and definitely would recommend!

Did you say...dirty talk? Yes please...

4 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

To be honest I started this series because everyone was raving about how Lucy Smoke FMC is one bad @#$ girl in these books and there aren’t many authors these days that have a strong h that has a F@*#* attitude and since I love a h with a backbone I knew this would be a series I needed to read. Lucy Smoke is a new to me Author so I wasn’t sure about her reading style and I have to say I’m not disappointed...

Pretty Little Savage will keep you turning the papers, that’s for sure. This book has it all....Hot steamy chemistry, suspense, violence, major push and pull and my favor…some serious Dirty talking!

Avalon aka Ava is definitely a “ I don’t take any sh*t kinda girl” she can hold her own and doesn’t need the Sick Boys to help her out, especially one in particular named Dean!

I can’t really pin point on how I feel about Dean. Yes he’s alpha, yes he’s controlling, yes he’s talks psychotic, but I don’t get that psychotic vibe from him like Mrs. Lucy trying to come across with in this book….there’s just something missing with his character…. 🤷🏻‍♀️ maybe the next book will be different...Plus I think he’s a little on the wimpy side when it comes to Avalon. I wanted him to follow through with his threats rather than give in to her, but that’s just me.. lol

Overall I enjoyed this book and I will continue listening/reading the series .

Audiobook Review: I have Listened to J.F. Harding in the past and I’m starting to really enjoy his narrating. Elizabeth Russell I’ve only listen to one other time And I find her voice very enjoyable to listen to. Therefore I give them both 4 stars.
