Publisher's Summary

Trauma left her captivating, sweet soul flawed, distressed, disconnected, and shattered. Savvy and effortlessly beautiful, Syncere James concealed her heartache, finding security and refuge in her career as a successful real estate agent.

Refusing to lose control, Syncere dictates and schedules every aspect of her life, including her relationships with men. The pretty princess never desired the love of a prince - then she met a King. Wealthy construction company owner, King Cartwright, could have the heart of any woman in Haven Point, but he only has eyes for the gorgeous and complicated Syncere James. Navigating her complex layers, will his persistence and protection win her love? Or are Syncere’s unreasonable barriers, and immeasurable pain, too much for King to make her his queen?

trash

Wesleigh makes this story good. I am so tired of hearing "princess" like wtf. Then referring to the vagina as her "treasure". Ok, once or twice is cool but pussy, noni, nooni, punany, etc are good words too

Great Book!

This was my first time listening to a book by this author and she did not disappoint! Narration was excellent as always by Wesleigh. I will be on the lookout for any other works by this author.

Simply Beautiful

This is my first time reading from this author and I love her already. She gives me author CCJ vibes. It’s the perfect mix of cursing, romance, and drama. This book wasn’t predictable and took you on a beautiful love journey. AND I must not forget to mention the outstanding job Wes (I just made up a nick name like we for real besties..LOL) did on the narration. There are about 4 main characters and she did a different voice for each character. I just love her male voice….its so sexy. It’s definitely worth it, I’ll probably listen to it again.

In their way. In their time.

Traumatic events instantly establish a connection with Syncere James in this tender love note. The reader flows through Syncere’s ebb and flow of emotions as she attempts to live her best life. For the most part, she does, but her unavailable attachment leads her to live a disconnected life—often in attendance of the beautiful moments in her life but never quite present.

And then King Cartwright with his mountain of sexual chocolate self decides to make a move (that he’s been waiting on) in her life. The only way to describe King is that he was given the correct birth name. He was a KING of MEN. He breathed the presence of life into Syncere through his tenderness, patience, and ooh his love, both emotionally and physically. The way that man treated her was nothing less than QUEENDOM.

We love that the author took the time to explore Syncere’s hurt rather than gloss over it. The author took every facet into consideration and King accepted her as she was and encouraged her through the pain and the process. This was the gem of the book.

The cast of friends and family around them provided the comic relief and playful banter needed to engross us in the circle of this saga. And we fell in love with reading about the blossoming love between King and Syncere in their way and in their time. A definite MUST READ.

Great Story....

This is the first book I've read from Robbi Renee, but I love, love, love Wesleigh, and I will support anything she narrates. It's sad because this happens in life all the time and could break a person's soul if you let it. I'm glad there is a happy ending. She truly deserved it. I really believe there should be a book 2.

Pretty Good Read

This was a good book to read. I enjoyed the storyline and the work the main character put in to heal her pain. The only thing that could have been better is the narration. I like Wesleigh a lot but I would have enjoyed hearing a man narrate as King’s character.

Blah

This was a difficult listen because I wanted to enjoy it so badly. The author is new to me but I follow the narrator because she is so talented. As always Wesleigh did her thing! The story had potential but the constant repeating of names (Princess Princess Princess) and over describing was realllllly really hard to tolerate.
