Publisher's Summary
Pride and Prejudice and Zombies and its prequel, Dawn of the Dreadfuls, were both New York Times best sellers, with a combined 1.3 million copies in print. Now the PPZ trilogy comes to a thrilling conclusion with Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After.
The story opens with our newly married protagonists, Elizabeth and Fitzwilliam Darcy, defending their village from an army of flesh-eating unmentionables. But the honeymoon has barely begun when poor Mr. Darcy is nipped by a rampaging dreadful. Elizabeth knows the proper course of action is to promptly behead her husband (and then burn the corpse, just to be safe). But when she learns of a miracle antidote under development in London, she realizes there may be one last chance to save her true love - and for everyone to live happily ever after.

Awesome addition to the series
I really enjoyed the first book, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, and was worried that this third book couldn't live up to its humor & originality. I was pleasantly proved wrong, and actually enjoyed this book as much as I did the original. Having read the other two novels in this series (or rather, listened to them), the characters are fully formed in my mind, and this continuation of their struggles against the dreadfuls was very well done.
Katherine Kellgren did an excellent narration - her voices for the individual characters were "spot-on" and never overdone, and I felt she really came into her element in this story. I was very impressed with her timing and her tone - she conveyed the obvious humor perfectly. At one point in the story, a character pops into the scene by talking first - and the reader knows exactly which character it is by Ms. Kellgren's performance. I honestly enjoyed the narration as much as the book itself.
I highly recommend this book, especially if you enjoyed the first one!

A nice conclusion
Where does Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
It isn't my favorite audiobook, but it was definitely enjoyable.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked that characters from the previous PPZ books (particularly Kitty and Mary) who didn't have a whole lot of development got to play a bigger role in this book. It fleshed out the story quite a bit more. Also, there wasn't a lot of Lydia, which I think everyone can agree is a good thing.
Have you listened to any of Katherine Kellgren’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
No, I haven't listened to any of her other performances.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
It was quite long, so no, but I didn't get bored with it.
Any additional comments?
This wasn't as good as the original PPZ, but I did like it better than Dawn of the Dreadfuls.

wonderful ending to series
Listened to the audible version. I enjoyed previous installments and enjoyed this one. Humor and action. Liked the joining of old time sexism with feminist freedom. Elizabeth, Mary, and Kitty refuse to take their expected roles in society and instead do what they want and must do to help family. Parts were frustrating but given the time and society of the setting that is to be expected. The narrator was very good at having distinct voices for each character and not slipping out of the voice when in character. She also put great emotion and such into the reading. I did receive a free copy and am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Finally managed to complete the trilogy!
What made the experience of listening to Pride and Prejudice and Zombies: Dreadfully Ever After the most enjoyable?
Having first read Pride, Prejudice & Zombies some years ago after it was recommended by my uni lecturer, I thoroughly enjoyed reading the other two novels in the series - this one was by far my favourite
What did you like best about this story?
The continued development of the original Austen characters (albeit in this parallel, zombie infested universe) and the way the writer managed to stay in keeping with the feel of an Austen novel while simultaneously turning everything on its head!
What aspect of Katherine Kellgren’s performance might you have changed?
Her accents were somewhat hammed up (and her Scottish accent was apalling) - but if you could overcome this & focus on the content rather than the narrator then the book was still enjoyable
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
Not moved, but I enjoyed the developmen of Kitty Bennet's character and her blossoming relationship with Nesu
Any additional comments?
If you are an Austen purist, avoid these novels - if however, you enjoy seeing how classics can be adapted and changed, this is a good series to start with.

Palpable relief
I cannot say that this sequel is as enjoyable as the first however, that does not make it bad. The plot threw a good many obstacles between our hero’s and their happiness and My panic and frustration was enough to keep me listening. Sadly it lacks the beautiful prose of Austen to make it as special and funny as the original monster mash. I cannot deny that I was invested and I enjoyed the scope that Hockensmith brought to this imagined world. More rules were established and it felt much more fleshed out (pardon the term). I was also happy to see the message of accepting change, and questioning exclusionary norms. Read it if you want to see more of this world and these characters.
The performance by Kellgren was once again the saving grace in many ways. Listen to this for her intoxicating performance. While the occasional voice felt over blown it did not jar too much due to the comedic nature of the book.

an amazing story that nicely ties up loose ends from Dawn of the Dreadfuls and Pride & Prejudice & Zombies. A bit of a slog
This audiobook is nicely narrated but I found the story a bit of a slog about half way through.
I enjoyed this more than the second book in the series, but I think maybe the zombie thing is a little dull for me now. Perhaps I'm just not that into zombie stories.

Pride and Prejudice Dreadful Saga
These three books are simply fantastic. At the beginning I was a little put off by the 'copy and paste' style of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, but I enjoyed the action parts nonetheless. When I read the second book, Dawn of the Dreadfuls, I was totally hooked. Lots and lots of action and a good insight in young Elisabeth's life. The last book, Dreadfully ever after, is pure magic. Lots more character studies of the girls, and quite a creative view of the 'Z' catastrophe in England. Fun, but if you're looking for depth, go elsewhere. These books make you laugh!

Fantastic
Keep up the good work.
The first book was a wonderful reinterpretation of the original work by Jane Austin . I've thoroughly enjoyed the whole series!
