A Must-Read Story of Adventure, Courage, and Hope

Prince Lander and the Dragon War is one of the best books in the Green Ember series. It tells the tale of Prince Lander as he faces many battles with courage, bravery, and honor. Facing many dangers, he is willing to sacrifice himself for the good of his people. But his willingness is not in vain, as good overcomes evil and peace reigns once again.

Children and adults who enjoy stories of adventure, sacrifice, and the triumph of good over evil (like The Hobbit and Narnia) will not want to miss this amazing story!

A beautiful cap

The third in the “prequel” series of the Green Ember books. PL&TDW gives a beautiful cap to that story of how did we get to where we are when Heather and Picket’s story is told. I loved it, laughed and cried. I think you'll love it too. But don’t start here if you can help it, Blackstar of Kingston and Wreck and Rise.

You need to listen to this one!

Another sensational story by SD Smith! We listened to this as a family while on a road trip after my kids read the book. Rich in vocabulary, as usual, there are touching moments and humor. Smith even uses one of my favorite noun: eejit! There are so many wonderful messages throughout this story. We plan to listen to it again!
