When we talk to ourselves, we often hope to tap into our inner coach but find our inner critic instead. When we’re facing a tough task, our inner coach can buoy us up: Focus - you can do this. But, just as often, our inner critic sinks us entirely: I’m going to fail. They’ll all laugh at me. What’s the use?

OMG THIS BOOK IS ME! GREAT STUFF!
Is this a book about procrastination, or about ME? Well, I guess it's about a lot of us... but it's literally me to a T. It was surprising and a bit frightening how much I procrastinate, and why. I found it very well written and organized, and liked the narration as well. I learned a lot about why I do the things I do, and I will definitely used that knowledge to really work on not procrastinating. Although, I seriously procrastinated on writing this review, bad bad bad!
GREAT BOOK, REALLY ENJOYED IT AND FOUND IT USEFUL.

Wish this was standard issue at the job
This little gem is good for the whole family. There are chapters for students and chapters for the workplace. Additionally, there are sections on the health impacts of procrastination, which I haven't heard addressed before.
The narrator has a pleasant, conversational tone that keeps the information interesting. Thanks to her, I zipped through this in two days of travel and never felt my attention was wavering.
The length is perfect and there's a minimum of repetition. No filler. Defines procrastination, separates out into types, then gives suggestions how to overcome it. The bit on perfectionism was right on point for this listener. I'd never considered the impacts on health until I listened to this. I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Some good content BUT
It’s been recorded in someone’s shed on a tape deck - just awful cheap sound quality.
Extremely unprofessional - I’m amazed I had to pay for this. Sounds like a school kid reading from a school paper & being bored as hell while doing it.
There is some quite good content but the droning voice & awful quality of the recording makes this a chore to listen to.
I can not understand how this book has any good ratings to be fair.

Worth the purchase.
I’m starting a new job soon and have been a serial procrastinator for YEARS, so I want to start my new position with good habits.
Was somewhat dubious about buying this book, because I wasn’t confident that I’d learn much which I’ll put into use. I’m actually really glad I did purchase it, because I’ve learned about different types of procrastination, why we do it, the consequences and what to do to combat these habits. The book is very short and this made it easy to concentrate and focus.
I’ve marked the performance down but NOT because of the narrator (whose voice and performance I enjoyed), but because the recording quality was a little poor.
Would recommend to anyone else in my position and I’ll be listening again if and when I need a reminder!

Could've been more personal
The book had everything..reasons why we procrastinate. Strategies to overcome, different types of procrastinators etc..the author must've included stories of people who suffered from the habit and how they overcame. It should've includes her own story of how she overcame the habit..there wasn't much to relate or associate with. Hope this goes as a positive feedback to the writer.
