Loved it

amazing ending!

I adored this final installment. So much action, so much emotion and love, some great scenes between characters and I couldn’t have wished for anything else out of the book.
I’m hoping Karen Lynch writes something else from this world as she has made it so rich and complex, I’m not ready to leave it yet!
Five stars.

Narration from Caitlin Kelly was fabulous once again. Smooth voice, distinguishable voices for different characters and easy to listen to.

This was an amazing series!

The world of the fae was fascinating and fun to experience. Jessie's experience there was full of action and adventure. She had wonderful highs and bone chilling lows. Through it all she prevailed with the help of her many friends and the goddess of course. The evil Seely queen didn't stand a chance. I loved how real the characters were and how Lucus never doubted her again after his first debacle. I loved how strong Jessie was even during her worst trail she never have up and stood for what was right. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loved fairies, dragons, magic and mysteries!

Great end of series, would love more books

I loved this last book and wish it wasn’t over. Jesse is as strong as ever, always doing what is right, she was put through the ringer in this story so many things happened to her but she kept on going. I loved that Gus was part of the story. I enjoyed their adventures, especially the one at the end it was just too cute. I love Lucas and how protective he was of Jesse, no we didn’t get to see a lot of him but that was OK the story seemed to be centered more on Jesse and what she had to do but when he was with her his fierce love for her was clearly seen. I am so happy that we got to see what happened to most of them by the end of the story, yes of course I would love another book showing more of Lucas and Jesse but I would love to read a story with Reese finding someone and catching up with Conlan, Foalin and the others.

Perfect except for sex scene

I loved this series! But there was a detailed sex scene that I had to fast forward through. Thankfully, it was at the end of a chapter so that made it easy to bypass. The story telling in this series was outstanding!!! I wish there would be more in this series. I want to know what happens with all of our fairy friends. I’d love to see more in this universe and I know Karen is talented enough to come up with some fantastic story lines!

But that’s the hallmark of a great series, right? When you are happy with the ending but still want more from the characters.

Bad ending to the trilogy

I was disappointed with how things wrapped up. I liked that we explored a new world for a bit, but it was a lot of solo stuff. I would’ve liked to seen the other characters a bit more.

Love this series

I have waited forever for the last book to come out. I bought the e copy and read it in a day but the narrator brought this story to life. She is exceptional. This story has everything, romance, murder, suspense, action, mystery and Magic’s along with magical beings. Love this book

Such a great book and series!

First off…the ending was pretty open ended so I am totally hoping for another book in this series! We have to see Lucas and Jesse reign UnSealie right!?!?! Or even a book with Lucas’ POV just like the Relentless series.

Such a great 3rd book in this story! I have read it 3 times now and just love all of the characters so much. Caitlin is such an amazing narrator as well. It’s hard to leave this series and listen to other narrators.

For being an academic genius, Jesse can sure be pretty clueless

I love Caitlin Kelly! She got my 5 star rating. Although there were times I wanted to shout out ‘How did Tarren get in here?’ (Referring to The Cruel Prince By Holly Black).

I really enjoyed the first two books and I was so looking forward to this one. I cannot say that it was my favorite because it felt like the author rushed through the writing and took advantage of the YA rating by accentuating Jesse’s mean girl foe theme. This aspect was way over done. I think that Karen Lynch had more than one missed opportunity to add depth to the story. It kind of laid flat. The ending was almost painful. Jesse once again, saves the day then goes home, attends Harvard, Christmas then flies away on Gus to Unseelie like Dorothy flying away on her balloon in The Wizard of Oz. Points for the dracon originality but…no. This was supposedly the last book of the trilogy and since Ms. Lynch has no character loyalty, Lukas and Jesse will be shacking up in Brooklyn until the end of time or until King (whatshisname; Lukas’ father) either dies or abdicates the throne. Don’t hold your breath. We can only hope that there will be a Lukas POV book sometime in the future to fill in a multitude of blank spots. Again, don’t hold your breath. I just fear that Lukas and Jesse will go the way of Nikolas and Sara. “This is only the beginning” I think was the last phrase of the epilogue of the final book. Really? The beginning of the end, maybe. I was really hoping to see the front desk clerk at the Ralston getting owned in the event that Lukas took Jesse there and he snubbed her. That would be so good.

one of the best endings yet

oh my, I could not wait to get book 3 in that series and I want to say, the ending was perfection. I was so drawn in , I laughed, I cried, had goosebumps. I highly recommend this series and as I said, one of the most perfect endings I ever heard. ❤️ now I'm lost with what else I should listen to next. I'm still so wrapped up in this series.

A good finale to the story

A good trilogy
This last book was enjoyable. Performance good.
Ending was good. All loose ends tidied up nicely.
No taunting with open questions to keep you on tenterhooks for another book.

Perfect YA entertainment

Once again Karen Lynch took my psychic far far away from the real world, made me ignore my family, and deprived me of sleep while I DEVOURED another of her series.

As a whole, it is a great, fast-paced, fantasy adventure with a strong romantic plotline.

Queen

This is a lovely heart breaking story as Jess gets to fix the damage done by the Queen. Only to get caught at the last exchange, then all her courage is needed to defy the accusations placed at her feet. Read brilliantly again by Caitlin Kelly.

Worth the wait

I’d been waiting for this instalment of the Fae Games for what seems like forever! And Karen didn’t disappoint! Just when I thought I knew where it was going she turned it and kept me on tenterhooks. Enjoyed it a lot but at the same time I just didn’t want to keep listening because I knew it would end.
The narration was perfect, I’m so happy that Caitlin read this one too!

I’m really hoping for a ‘king’ book to match ‘warrior’ so finger crossed there!
Would definitely recommend! And I’d you’ve not read her other stuff then 100% go for it!
