Publisher's Summary

As the world burns, I must walk through the fire - and emerge a queen.

I never wanted to rule. I never wanted to have men follow me. Die for me. But now, they do it anyway. The power in me is growing. If I’m not careful, it will consume me. It will consume everything. And the gods want it back.

They come to me in a vision. Through the smoke and the screams of dying men, they give me a choice. Bow before them or die. My choice is easy; I defend what’s mine.

It’s easier said than done, of course. I have to build an army unlike anything the Bosses have ever seen. It’s the only way to survive this world that wants to kill me and the men I love. Thank the gods I have my evil butler with me to help me navigate the chaos....

Queen of Dragons is a full-length novel with a badass heroine, a riveting story line, and a few fan-your-face moments. Prepare for lip-biting, fist-pumping, and lots of “hell yes” moments.

Includes a special note from the author.

Enough, just enough

I'm half way through and Rory just ran out of a room where dozens of men are fighting to either capture her or protect her. She ran out by herself.... into the back room.... where other men keep coming to get her. Duh. Of course she gets captured.
They keep saying she should be the queen. Heck her castle keeps shouting it! She's so smart! She's so sexy that 4 alpha males are happy to share her. I just can't see it.
The overall story line is ok. I think I will finish it, even though it's getting more and more ridiculous and predictable. I just need to see the end, even if it is painful. I will however, be glad to move on when it's over.

Ok, I finally finished. I just realized that this is really a young, young adult novel with a bit of sex thrown in. There are so many inconsistencies and incredibly bad decisions.
I'm one of those people who needs to know how something ends, so I may get the next book. I will take a long break between however, maybe long enough to just forget.

Great story but too much filler

I loved the storyline and I look forward to the ending but the author constantly repeated the same things over and over. This caused me to slow down my reading, forcing me to take a break in between books. Ms Ash is incredibly talented but truly needs a better editor.

Perfect

Slowly but surely Rory is getting rid of the bad guys! Her powers keep growing and her dragon is getting older to help her. Love her four men, her sister and all the additional good guys she has met along the way. A+++ to Erin Bennett as her narration it so good and keeps you really involved in the story.

inconsistencies and adjectives

overall so far it's been a good book series, but I am starting to get tired of the "my men" and other repetitive adjectives. as of chapter 2, Rory has now mentioned a magic sword and magic axe, where as of the last book she only had a magic dagger, no further explanation was given as to how she had these new magical items. and yes she creates them with her magic but still it's annoying.

Omg stop with the adjectives

I wanted to like it. the plot is decent and so is the character development, but it is too descriptive and repetitive. my partner and I joked we should make a drinking game out of how often the author used the same adjectives to describe characters that were well developed and known "murderous castle" and "evil butler" were our picks for cues to drink, but we would have been intoxicated but Chapter 10 if we indulge. I don't recall the last time a wrote a review, but I could not help myself. it completed ruined it for me.
