Excellent book for all.

Excellent book for all. I am particularly pleased with the practical information available to the fairly inexperienced. I have a very good picture of how to layout and set up my facility based on my needs and future plans for my horses. I would recommend this particularly to those who are starting from scratch with setting up their barn/stable.

Found this book to be a jumping point

Found this book to be a jumping point to find other resources regarding some of the main concerns of horse care on small farms. Enjoyed the photos and the helpful suggestions for the most difficult obstacles due to limitation of open space.

This book has definitely helped me

This book has definitely helped me figure out the best layout for multiple, rotational paddocks. Mostly though, it has been useful in figuring out how to best protect the existing spring fed creek from unintended waste runoff. I would suggest all horse owners read this and especially the first timers. It's easier & less expensive to set up your place correctly at the start rather than fix big problems later.

The Natural Horsemanship and Relationship

The audible opens up a world of communication with horses. Communicating in their language, I felt, in listening to this work is the key to the most important aspect of any Horsemanship, whether man, woman, or child. Horses do have a language amongst themselves and it is up to us to learn it if we ever want to have that human equine relationship.

Breeding Theories A Gem

I found it easy to extrapolate to my particular interests, which involves breeding horses for other performance disciplines. I would recommend it to anyone interested in breeding horses, particularly those with an industry in TB pedigrees.interest and some background in the breeding industry. Sensible discussion of a subject that can easily be suffocated and complicated by folk-lore, tradition..
