Fantastico!

My Amazon review may show up here as well...

I am astonished by how much Spanish I'm learning with so little effort. You'll find both the music and voices very pleasant (listen to the sample).

Volume 3 on Audible has a link in the product description to a pdf phrase booklet. To get the pdf booklets for volumes 1 and 2, I went to the Earworms website and signed up for the newsletter thereby gaining access to the downloads. Audible needs to fix that omission.

I'm completely delighted to add this to my learning repertoire and hope that Earworms continues to add to theirs!

A must-have audiobook for travellers

Highly recommended for travellers to Spanish-speaking countries. This audiobook teaches basic travel vocabularies and more. The superb narration is also a plus.

pdf phrase booklet is missing

This is a great tool. But it would help even more to have the pdf phrase booklet, which it seems they have missed to provide. So only 3 stars.

Catchy

Catchy melodies. Spanish teaching set to music. Reminds me of Sesame Street from the 1970’s and I really like it!

Good but not for the slow learner

I liked this overall. New twist with the music. I think that the reading was inconsistent though. Sometimes they would speak slow other times they would go over new material too fast.

A great resource to learn a language

It take you through most of the necessary conversations that you would need while traveling. I have used the French series first and I learned enough to make my trip to Paris great. the only caveat is some times to music is to intrusive to hear the pronunciation of the words. Also the French course had a pdf included and the spanish one did not. which was disappointing.

Excellent tool for learning Spanish

I have been listening to this book over and over to help me learn Spanish. I even listen to it while walking my dog. The music helps me keep my pace and I am learning Spanish at the same time. I love 💘 it!

I thought it was a crazy idea but it works

I thought it was a crazy idea but I remembered a lot from this audio/music style language learning. I also have the French and German version. This will benefit only the beginners who does not know anything.

Delightful and effective

I'm pleasantly surprised by my somewhat random purchase of this audible book. I've been learning Spanish off and on for a few years now with apps like Babel and a few books. Living in south FL for some time also acclimated me to hearing the language frequently, and I'm accustomed to the sound and pronunciations of many words - I just didn't understand much of it, and certainly couldn't speak more than a few small sentences and numbers. I've recently signed up with an online group course with a real teacher. While that is well worth the money spent, I decided taking on alternative methods of learning into account, and thought something to listen to while I take my daily walks would be helpful.

I liked the concept of the "earworm" - I love music, and walking, so just wanted something fun and pleasant that would help me inculcate the Spanish I have been learning into my brain while I strolled about getting my exercise. This is perfect. The music is nice to listen to and goes well with the tempo of my steps. The voices are lovely. I enjoy the small bits of laughter, as if the actors are having fun with this.

This is definitely helping supplement my online sessions w/ my tutor. But I really wish a written PDF companion was more available. It helps to see the words written and unfortunately I can't find a written version either here on Audible or the company website (which is not the most usable, I'm afraid).

Excellent introduction to a language.

I have struggled to learn any languages all my life. Now that I am an adult it is even harder. I have now used eat worms to learn enough Italian and Latin-American to get by on my travels. Much more successfully that personal tutors and expensive online courses.

It does not go beyond talking to hotels, restaurants and asking for directions. But somehow this becomes a great seed for further language development.

fantastic method

Absolutely loved this method of learning languages. It is read perfectly and easy to repeat.
The narrative is great as they say the words enough times yet not too many so you get fed but just enough to learn correctly. Definitely will buy more and will definitely be listening more than once. Great narrative, great voices and easy with fun music.
