Publisher's Summary

One touch was all it took to pierce through the hatred, the revenge, the payback that kept Reaper’s sanity in check. Unable to bear to be touched, Ginny breezed through his safeguards, stirring the flames of desire, trying to make him believe love was possible again, but his tortured soul just wanted to find the peace he had promised himself once all his enemies were there to keep him company in hell.

One look was all it took for Ginny to recognize her soul mate. Now she was determined to show him that love, mercy, and forgiveness would bring the light back into his life. Her warrior was no longer fighting alone to battle his nightmares, and this Kentucky woman wasn’t afraid of stealing his heart and making it hers. But love would have to be strong enough to overcome Reaper’s biggest enemy - himself.

Having lost faith in love, The Last Riders, and himself, it was only when Ginny committed a desperate selfless act of love that Reaper realized that, to save her, he was going to have to put his life on the line again. This time if he lost, not only would he lose Ginny, but he would lose the Last Riders forever. How was he supposed to know his wrath could cost him everything?

What A Great Book!!!!

So good, I couldn't stop listening. Well worth the wait, Jamie Begley is a wonderful story teller, never a dull moment. Elizabeth Hart weaves the different characters and actions together so you can see them in your mind. A Great Addition to my Audible Library!

What a cliffhanger

I have to know what happens. I'm so glad I waited until they were all out before I started.

Still disappointed

Another 13 hours that could have been condensed. Jenny or Ginny? Just pick how to pronounce her name and stick with it. And I am so disappointed the pandemic was written into the story. That almost made me stop listening. If I haven’t been following this series for years I would have returned these first 2 Gavin books. Praying the third makes up for it but I’m 10 chapters in and they are in a quarantine so I’m not expecting much.

Real & Gritty!

This is my second Jamie Begley book, and let me tell you, this talented author really knows how to weave a raw, gritty and engaging story with depth, this book took me through a whole gamit of emotions. I've listened to the entire triology, and consider it the best three credits I've ever spent. I enjoyed the narrator, Elizabeth Hart, and thought she fit the part of Jenny very well. She also performed the male voices really well without making them sound weird or wimpy, which to me is a sign of real voice talent.

Such an annoying series

Liked the Last riders series. But it was overkill to write 3 books on Reaper. Gosh give me my credits... and heroine was so boring. Not to mention editorial and writer mistakes on the story.

Loved it

I had already read and loved this book. The audible version lifted it further- highly recommend this trilogy/whole series.
