Inspiring Beginner’s Guide

This is the perfect gift to give anyone who is thinking of becoming vegan or even to go a bit more plant-based. The arguments are persuasive and the 4-step program is adaptable and straight forward. What even more helpful is the comprehensive nutritional guide enplaning everything you might need to now as you transition.

There are also some cute and inspiring vegan stories with my favorite about Oprah’s flirtation with veganism!

Fantastic introduction to a healthy vegan diet.

At the start of the year, I Did Vigenary, and I so wished I had this book then! It is part self-help/ motivational, part practical how-to book, and part nutrition guide. And they all work together to make a supportive environment to build a fully plant-based life.

Rebel Vegan Life holds your hand and guides you through the essentials and the bumps in the road. In a very practical sense, it helps ensure you get all the required nutrients. It covers the basics like protein, fats, and carbohydrates. There are guidelines on the daily recommended allowances and sources. And it includes advice on where to find the best omegas, vitamins, and minerals. If you are open to it, it can transform your life!

Kickstart healthy living

First of all, this is a very engaging and easy read. Todd Sinclair weaves a powerful and fascinating case for veganism. I love how the chapters and sections are split up for easy reading and, later, for easy reference. I will keep coming back to the comprehensive plant based nutritional guide!

This has everything you need to know about a plant based diet and lifestyle. The bonus recipes at the back come with a free PDF attached so you can see and read the recipes. I can’t wait to start eating better and enjoying a healthier life!

From motivational tips to recipes

This book is for anyone exploring a more ethical diet or lifestyle. It’s packed with advice and a full Nutritional Guide. My family will refer back to the comprehensive nutritional advice and use it as a resource for many years to come.

There are also some fantastic simple plant based recipes that I am working my way through now!

This Should Be Essential Reading!

I am impressed how the author keeps the text very conversational and yet everything is underpinned with the necessary scientific evidence. Everyone, even dedicated meat-eaters, should read this book and be challenged and engaged.

Much More Than A Cookbook

I wasn’t sure if this would be a cookbook (with a bit of nutrition) when I first bought it. But it is an incredibly well-researched resource for anyone wanting to be more plant-based. Although I have been vegan for 10 years now, I learned a lot of new science and great stories about the modern vegan movement. The nutritional sections are surprisingly thorough and I appreciated the information about essential vitamins and micro/ macro nutrition.

And I could use the free PDF download to use the delicious recipes at the back of the book. I couldn’t recommend this book more to bot an experienced and budding vegan!

Rebel Vegan has it all!

Too many vegan books seem to either be a cookbook or a guide. This covers it all and does so in a refreshing manner. It also takes into account how our relationship to the planet, the animals, and our health has changed since Covid happened. This is an impressive feat—the science is solid, the writing is concise and clear, and the bonus recipes are inspiring (you can download a free PDF with the recipes and color photos!)

Extremely useful, very helpful, and professional

I loved this book!

I have always wanted to figure out veganism for myself, especially as someone who travels often and gets nervous about feeling like I can maintain cultural congruency in other places of the world. I truly enjoyed this book for laying out the foundations for what a vegan life entails, and that it's not at all hard. In fact, many cultures around the world are plant-based, and this book includes plenty of tips AND recipes (!!!!) for how to accomplish this. All the recipes sound delicious. This book does a great job of providing great motivation, nutrition tips as you switch to veganism, and how to stay full and make your food taste delicious!

This book had given me the strength and motivation

It has been my goal to reduce my meat intake and eventually swap over to a vegan diet and this book has been a big support and inspiration towards that journey. Not only did it give me tools to build a plant based life but it had all the practical nutritional guidelines.

When first starting out on new life-changing journey, you usually feel lost and anxious. Here I felt fully supported and informed on how to start. The nutritional guide helped me prepare with the minerals and vitamins that I might need and what to stock in my kitchen. Then I followed the 4 step program to gradually reduce meat consumption and build my new healthier life. I am now ready to go out in the world as a vegan!

First post-Covid book on Veganism!

Most impressive is the analysis and summary of plant Based Lifestyle for this new era. Covid changed everything and most other vegan brooks are now out of date. This one makes it all relevant and exciting as we create our new normal.

The narrators are crystal clear and have easy voices to listen to. I preferred the male narrator but that’s a personal preference. You get a free PDF of the book to follow on with the recipes that are in the back of the book. It is all thoughtfully produced.

Secrets to staying motivated

I was blow away by how this book packed in so much information and yet was a delight to listen to. I eat mostly plant-based but will continue further on this journey with the support of this book. I will use the handy lists to stock my pantry with lots of vegan staples.

A daring read

I have dared many of my friends to read this book as I think is a convincing argument for veganism. It’s the best vegan beginners guide that I have ever come across with a full nutritional guide and a step program to reduce meat consumption. It is also up to date with information about how the Covid crisis has changed our lives forever and helps promote vegan values.

The book I needed!

Wow, this book makes veganism easy. I’d been a vegetarian for many years and went plant-based during the endless lockdowns. But after the initial novelty and fun of trying new things wore thin, I knew I needed support and more information to keep me on the path. I found this book that provided all the scientifically backed up driving forces for veganism. That got me excited and focused on my vegan journey and I have not looked back!

And it was so easy to listen to these two brilliant narrators. Whether you're a newbie vegan or not, I highly recommend this book.

Great production of a profound book

As a vegan already, there were lots I knew about before listening to this book. But it did bring the vegan debate up-to-date for a new post-pandemic perspective. The Beyond Diet chapter was also very powerful!

I can do this! For real!

Honestly, how amazing is this book! Super easy to follow. I was so scared that I wasn't not going to be able do this, but this book makes it so easy. Can't wait to start my journey.
