Enough is Enough
I love this author. Why is every book fixated on skin tone, eye color, hair texture, and race? Why is there a notion that light skin and long hair is perfection whereas dark skin and nappy hair is almost beastly? Where are we (collectively) going to get over this? I’m a brownish Portuguese woman with long dark hair but I’m so much more than my appearance...I have a kind heart ♥️ who cares about my appearance. Black is beautiful!

Narration is not the best
At some points in the book you can hear the narrator breathing - it is so annoying but not enough to quit to book with more than 50% done. I think it is an older audible book - I think it would be much better updated but the story is good and not over the top urban fiction.
