Publisher's Summary

Red is the color of blood, sacrifice, danger, and courage. It’s also associated with heat, passion, and sexuality. When two people meet unexpectedly with an inexplicable attraction that defies common understanding...it can be called Red Sin.

Julia and Van found one another in a shaken snow globe. Stranded in a blizzard, they embraced being two individuals with no last names. The plan was to walk away from each other with no regrets - until that plan changed.

Julia’s life was delivered a staggering blow the day she discovered her fiancé’s infidelity. The night she met a handsome stranger, one who showed her the possibility of a life filled with more than the fulfillment of expectations, she took a chance.

When it comes to business, Donovan Sherman is a wolf - a bloodthirsty carnivore who leaves wounded prey and victims in his wake. He learned from the best, his onetime nemesis and now-mentor, Lennox Demetri, who showed him that opportunities are only ripe for those willing to risk it all, a lesson Donovan took to heart.

With Julia McGrath, Donovan must decide if this beautiful woman who showed him the meaning of red sin will fall victim as his prey, or if after experiencing the unbridled passion, there is more that he wants.

From New York Times best-selling author Aleatha Romig, comes a brand-new age-gap, family saga, chance meeting, contemporary romantic-suspense novel in the world of high finance, where success is sweet and revenge is sweeter.

Good listen

Though I’m irritated by the cliffhanger, I’m intrigued by the story. Julia is a bit naive and Van is ridiculously secretive for someone who wants to have his memoirs written.

Enjoyed getting back into the Sin world!

Having first picked up Red Sin i was so glad when i found out there was an audiobook! I started listening to it as soon as i could and got back into the Sin world! I enjoyed this listen so much!

I've listened to Stephen's narration before but this was my first time listening to Samantha. These two were so great with their narrating and i loved how i was pulled into this story even more because of them.

Once again, Van and Julia's journey pulled me in! I really liked how these two were brought together and the way i felt so much with them. This first installment kept me on my toes and had me feeling so much!

With Red Sin, Ms.Romig has created such a good story that you won't want to turn away from! I can't wait for more with the second installment, Green Envy! I am so looking forward to listening to more of Stephen and Samantha's narration in the future as well!

Wonderful start to the series!

What an amazing book with an age gap, insta-chemistry, dominance, and secrets. When Juila's car loses traction and gets stuck in a snowstorm, she saved by a mountain man. Their attraction is instant but for only one night. At least, that's what they both thought. Days later, Julia meets her mountain man again but this time he is a powerful CEO, Donovan. He has hired her to write his memoir and their attraction to each other grows stronger. However, secrets from Van's past and newly discovered secrets in Julia's life are bubbling at the surface.

I love how their relationship jumped from a one to a ten in intensity. Van and Julia are super hot together and balance each other out. I'm anxious to learn his secrets from his past. Their age gap is around 15 years and I think that is the perfect amount. Julia has been somewhat sheltered in her life but meeting Van has given her the strength to be on her own and do what she wants to do.

Samantha Prescott is a new to me narrator and I loved her performance as Julia. Stephen Dexter was his normal gruffy perfection. He was the perfect choice to play the secretive, alpha Van.

The audiobook made the experience 10x better!

☆☆☆☆☆
Red Sin is what’s whispered when two people meet unexpectedly with an inexplicable attraction that defies common understanding. I read this as an eARC and loved it.
Julia McGrath and Donovan Sherman met on the white ribbon when he saved her during a blizzard. They spend an incredibly hot night together. The next day, she finds out he’s her potential new boss. She moves in to his huge house in the middle of a winter wonderland to work for him. There, she comes across one mystery after another with red sin always burning hot between them the more time they spend together.
The dual narration from Stephen Dexter and Samantha Prescott added to the whole Aleatha Romig experience. Stephen Dexter’s voice was incredibly sexy and deep. I will definitely be listening to more books narrated by him. If you love audiobooks written by Aleatha, then you need this one. This is my honest opinion, freely given.

OKAY BUT NOT WOWED

I had read the prequel to this book which ended up being the first 6 chapters. So I bought the audio. The female narrator sounded much older than 24 which was weird since this is intended to be an age gap trope. The word "orb" was over-used throughout and started to get monotonous to me as a listener. The cliffhanger at the end was predictable but enough for me to want to read the next book. The story overall was ok but I wasn't wowed. I hope the next book is better.

Good but not her best

I liked most of this book except the predictability. Van is intriguing and I will get the next book to follow him.

Red Sin

Red Sin was a captivating story! I really enjoyed the male narrator as he did a fabulous job bringing Donovan to life. Some parts of the story were very predictable but overall a story that I will definitely continue with when the next book releases as Red Sin does end on a cliffhanger.

Hot!!

As a 'first', Red Sin was a great way to be introduced to the work of Aleatha Romig.

This intense, insta-love story is only marred by the cliff hanger type ending.

Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed Red Sin and fell a little bit in love with Van Sherman myself!

I can't wait for the next installment and fervently hope that the author is busy penning it now!!
