Suspenseful

The Jung have captured the Pentaurus system. Lord Dusahn is more aggressive than the other caste of Jung. Maybe there is a upcoming split of the Jung Nation or the Dusahn are a rouge caste. Lord Dusahn destroyed an entire planet because the elders refused to bow down to him. To make it worse the Dusahn have the jump drive, stronger shields and more powerful weapons. The Ghatazhak are moving to another planet farther away for a safe base to fight from. Captain Connor Tuplo refused to have his memory returned and flew away to avoid the Jung. Tuplo is the clone of Nathan Scott and everyone wants him to return to defeat the Jung again. The big question is will Tuplo become Scott? The Dusahn have attacked the Ghatazhak before they could relocate. Will they win and/or will Scott return? Will Cameron Taylor, now Captain of the Aurora, and her crew go rouge and come to help the Pentaurus system? Read the book to find out.

The book is well written. The space battles are brutal as the Jung are so ruthless. Jessica and Tellis are caught in a big fight. What will happen to them? The suspense builds throughout the story as does the action. Brown is a great storyteller. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

The book is just about eight and a half hours long. Jeffrey Kafer does an excellent job narrating the book. Kafer is a multi-award-winning audiobook narrator.

From Outta NOWHERE

Ryk Brown seemed to BURST into the Sci-Fi Genre outta NOWHERE, and just gets better with each book... I'm wondering when the Writing is going to pay more than being a Paramedic, so he can just WRITE Full Time?!!?

(BTW, Thanks for "Being Out There" Ryk... I played at being a Nationally Registered Paramedic for several years after retiring from the Army, But I never did it "Full Time".. Too many "Frequent Fliers", and "Addicts wanting a Warm place to get High on cold nights" in this area... When the same person calls 911 for an Ambulance FROM A PHONE BOOTH, AT 11 PM, FOR A WEEK STRAIGHT, it makes me roll up and say things like: "Sigh...Get In The Back, You Know The Drill"... I took a Red Sharpie Marker on-shift without any good idea of WHY I had it with me, and when the 4th person that night "Just wanted to get checked", I reached for the Sharpie and STOPPED MYSELF before putting a Check Mark on their forehead... That was my last night on the trucks, because that's just NOT the attitude a caring Paramedic should have, even with "Drug Seekers"... You have my respect Bro!)

WOW!

One of my favorite series! I was so upset when Nathan was handed over to be killed by the Jung in "That Which Other Men Cannot Do", I didn't want to keep listening, and doubly so when they changed the narrator. No one does Josh & Loki like Jeffrey Kafer. But I bit the bullet & continued the series. I'm so glad that I did.

Natan (Nathan) is back! ...and not just as Captain Tupo.

A rogue faction of warrior Jung cast has obtained jump technology and has occupied the Pentaras System. They have glassed the Gatajac worlds and Jung be warned!

Book 19 & there is still NO defeat of the Jung!!!

Ryk Brown does not contain the ability to write an ending, win or lose, conquer or defeat of the Jung empire!!! Same damn enemy from book 1 is the same damn enemy in book 19! No closure, no justice, no recompense, no decisive victory for Sol or Jung or the PC. It's dragged on and on and is the same thing, book after book after boo after book!!! jump fire, jump fire, jump fire, jump fire...
I will NO LONGER purchase these books, or any written by ryk brown! I will find them on you tube, or elsewhere that does not require my damn money to read them. I'm tired of throwing away my hard earned dollar on something that is best flushed down a toilet.
