Publisher's Summary

I may be a shy letter carrier, but when my beloved apartment building is threatened by a mysterious and reclusive billionaire, I’m willing to push the envelope.

I’m going to march right up to Malcolm Blackberg’s fortress of fierceness and deliver a cease-and-desist notice he can’t refuse.

Except as soon as I get inside his gilded doors, things go sideways - I’m mistaken for Malcolm’s court-ordered emotional intelligence coach, as if I’m acting out a wacky postal carrier cosplay.

They drag me in, a sacrificial lamb for the big bad.

Make that big, smolderingly sexy bad.

So I make up a lesson involving a story about our building. He doesn’t seem happy. Can he tell that I have no idea what I'm doing?

Before I know it, I’m flying around the country, up close and personality testing the most devilishly exasperating man I’ve ever met.

He’s scary for sure...but the way he sometimes looks at me turns my knees to jelly, and has me writing love letters to his gorgeous eyes, his mouthwatering smile, his impressive...package.

Our coaching sessions are getting hot-hot-hot, but I can’t let my guard down. If he ever finds out I’m a first-class fake, I’ll lose everything I’ve ever loved in this world!

I love this series!

I loved the whole series! Call Girl and Fake Fiance are My favorite though. But Noelle was super sweet and I loved that Malcolm liked her from the start.

In terms of narration Neva is always great, she does cute/goofy really well. Not gonna lie, I missed Jason Clarke (I discovered the series with him), but Will did great. His voice is not my favorite but his female voice, accents and timing were really good.

I really hope Annika comes up with a sixth book for Willow were she is the billionaire vs a normal guy. I think that would be so cool! ❤❤❤

Was excited about this one but more of the same...

Like this author and have borrowed the other books in this series. I was very excited about this story. There was potential, but this ended up being very similar to previous stories for my liking.

Very slow moving

I’ve listened and enjoy the other books in this series, but though I tried, I could not get into this book. Also, I did not care for the male narrator at all.

regret

only got 3 stars because the first third was pretty funny. I disliked the heroine intensely. she is a spoiled brat. if I heard, "do this or that or I'm going to give you a X" one more time I think I would have returned it. there was no reason for him to not sell the building. I've never listened to WW before. He has a very nice voice and also does a good female voice but the lisp was hard to endure

Love this!

This is the first time I've listened to this. I'd read the kindle version the day it was teleased. ok love all books in this series. I'm super excited to find out my favorite male narrator voiced this book, Will Watt.another plus, I was a mail carrier when I was young so I related to Noelle from that . she's way sweeter than me though! all of these stories are funny, sexy and sometimes intense but you can depend on hea every time, great ones.

Slow moving, repetitive, cute

(I’m going to be irritating for a sec) Antonio was dating Kelsey in the previous book now he’s dating Jada. It’s either a misprint or lacking story/explanation.

This one could’ve been less repetitive but it embodies the characters well.

Male Narrator ruined the book

I’ve been flying through this series on audible and I absolutely love it! The only thing that I don’t like is the new male narrator. It’s a different studio and sound system and you can tell. The storyline was amazing and I enjoyed it but it was hard to listen with him.

Good story but…

Would have loved Shane East as the narrator for the male Malcolm. This voice was a little too gruff for a good lover and Balance.

Oh no 🙈 absolutely gutted!

Absolutely gutted as I LOVED the other 4 books in the series & was so excited for this one!
The narrators in the previous books were so great but the lead male voice in this book.. I’m unable to listen any further which is such a shame as the female is fab & im sure the story would be fab too but I just can’t listen to him so had to return 😢

The worst British accent ever and way too old!!

Loved all the other books in this series and the narration until this one. The male voice sounds like it’s recorded in a shed with background noise and the male narrator was not very believable as he sounded like he was in his 50’s.

Oh that British accent ❤❤❤

Absolutely loved this romcom and the clashes of personality between Noelle and Malcolm. She certainly irritates him beyond belief when he doesn't get his own way.
My favourite scene was on the private jet going to San Francisco ~ he was almost rendered speechless with her inferred threat.
The narrators were amazing and the characters really came to life ~ I highly recommend this audiobook ❤❤❤❤

5 star story and narration.

I was a bit dubious about listening to this even though I gave the rest of the series 5 stars. The reason is that I found this series through being a Jason Clarke fan. Also for some reason I don't particularly enjoy English narrators but I thought Will Watt did a fantastic job as Malcom. Because of his voice and the character description I actually had Henry Cavills face in my head whilst listening and that really worked for me! Wills narration was great and I will definitely listen to him again.
Neva Nevarre's performance was outstanding as Noelle, her comedic timing and delivery is just wonderful.I highly recommend this book and the whole series.

Two minds become one!

This was a great version of hate-to-love stories, particularly the contrast between the witty and facetious ML and the smart, but unsophisticated, FL.

The ML didn't so much have an epiphany as being brought to invest in people who were just enduring life's struggles. As is often the case, the well educated overthink everything and so second guess others intentions. This leads to a mistake of identity and meeting someone from a completely different circle who has different and less rarified aspirations.

In the end, the meeting of minds creates the strongest bond and true love.
