Story
Many women have spent their lives trying to succeed by "making it" in a man's world. But things are changing - more and more women are realizing that this way of being is no longer sustainable. We are experiencing a global shift that mystics through the ages have predicted: the return of the mother and the rise of the sacred feminine. Rise Sister Rise is a call to arms for women to rise up, tell their truth, and lead.

A gospel, as ancient and authentic as any of the gospels that the Christian bible contains, was buried deep in the Egyptian desert after an edict was sent out in the 4th century to have all copies of it destroyed. Fortunately, some rebel monks were wise enough to refuse - and thanks to their disobedience and spiritual bravery, we have several manuscripts of the only gospel that was written in the name of a woman: The Gospel of Mary Magdalene.

Perhaps no figure in biblical scholarship has been the subject of more controversy and debate than Mary Magdalene. Although she is discussed in the gospels of Philip, Thomas, Peter, and Bartholomew in the collection of writings known as the Gnostic gospels that were rejected by the early Christian church, there is no better insight into this mysterious and influential woman than Mary's own gospel.

Before a vision of a mysterious "Lady" invited Clark Strand and Perdita Finn to pray the rosary, they were not only uninterested in becoming Catholic but finished with institutional religion altogether. Their main spiritual concerns were the fate of the planet and the future of their children and grandchildren in an age of ecological collapse. But this Lady barely even referred to the Church and its proscriptions. Instead, she spoke of the miraculous power of the rosary to transform lives and heal the planet, and revealed the secrets within the rosary’s prayers and mysteries.

Letters to a Starseed asks the biggest questions that mystics and philosophers through the ages have been asking: What is the soul, where did it originate, and why have we chosen to come here at this time? As a planet, we are waking up to the fact that the ancient prophecies and warnings from the elders and wise ones are no longer predictions, but our waking reality. They are not just coming or even near...we are living them right now. What we do now matters to the future of this planet. And we all have a role to play. Do you remember why you have come?

In this book, third generation hereditary witch Lisa Lister explains the history behind witchcraft, why identifying as a healer in past centuries led women to be burned at the stake, and why the witch is reawakening in women across the world today. This book provides an overview of the different schools of witchcraft and the core principles and practices within them.

Truly a blessing to women all over the world
- By wendy on 05-03-21
Publisher's Summary
Harvard-trained theologian Meggan Watterson marched out of her church at age 10. With little-girl clarity, she knew something tremendously crucial was missing: the voices of women.
Watterson became a theologian and a pilgrim to the divine feminine to find the missing stories and images of women's spiritual voices. She knew women's voices had never been silenced, just buried. But what she truly sought was her own spiritual voice inside her - the one veiled beneath years of self-doubt.
At a sacred site of the Black Madonna in Europe, Watterson had a revelation that changed her. Rather than transcending the body, denying or ignoring it, being spiritual for her meant accepting her body as sacred. Only then, Watterson realized could she hear the voice of unfaltering love inside her - the voice of her soul.
With passion, humor, and brutal honesty, Watterson draws on ancient stories and lesser-known texts of the divine feminine, like The Gospel of Mary Magdalene, making them modern and accessible to reveal the spiritual process she went through. She suggests that being spiritual is simply about stripping down to the truth of who we really are.
Through her extensive work with women, Watterson found that she was not alone. There are countless women who long for a spirituality that encourages embodiment rather than denies it, that inspires them to abandon their fears but never themselves, and to be led by the audacious and fiercely loving voice of truth inside them.
No matter where you rest on the spectrum of spirituality - religious or secular, devout believer or chronic doubter, freelance mystic or borderline agnostic - this story is about the desire in all of us to want to shed everything that holds us back. Reveal provides what religions have left out-the spiritual voice of a woman who has claimed her body as sacred - a woman who has found the divine insider her. In essence, this is a manual for revealing your soul.

Meggan Watterson's passion and honesty comes through in her written words and is magnified in her brilliant voice. When the book ended, I wanted it to continue as I was engaged in every word. Listening was like having an intimate conversation with Meggan as she reveals her heart, her soul and shines a light on the Divine Feminine. I am grateful for her soul's work.

bounces all over
the narration was REALLY bad. I really tried to enjoy this book... I kept listening hoping that it would change in some way but it never did. The narration was really sticky at parts, like the author had no idea what words were coming next. as if she didn't write it? how do you read your own book so awkwardly? parts that should have been edited or re-read for more fluidity weren't. the story bounced from this way and that, not clear of any flow, timeline or purpose to the tales. i really tried to love it... but just didn't. it's unclear what the books' message is, almost as if it was written too forcefully poetic? I feel like the book would have been SO much better had the author chosen to just open her heart and let it flow. I feel like she was trying to be someone she isn't... trying to sound inspirational that just came off being kinda cheesy?
