Publisher's Summary

I ended my life to protect Lucian from his enemies. It should have been the hardest decision to make, but it wasn’t. Now I find that Lucian kept even more secrets, deadly ones that threaten to destroy me. I thought I won the game that he and Katarina played, but he’s never stopped shuffling the pieces on the board. Even so, I’ve found peace in his violence and learned to accept my fate within his embrace.

As our enemies are revealed, and worlds crashed down into ours, everything is on the line again. Could we survive his latest betrayal, or would it destroy us all?

Lena wasn’t supposed to pay for my sins, but she did. I hadn’t intended for her to suffer the consequences of my actions. I’d put pieces into motion to give her back the things that mattered most to her. She may never forgive me when she learns the cost I paid or the decisions I made.

The thing is, there’s no world where Magdalena isn’t mine. I’d do whatever it took to keep her, and I’d destroy worlds to ensure she stays with me.

enjoy this series

So this series is really good but.... this book went a little too far into the dirty sex which I could've been fine with until the threesome and how graphic it was, they spent three chapters on just the threesome.... gross...I thought that Lena's sexual appetite in this book went to far and the story suffered for it... just my opinion for this book the others are great... narrators are good sometimes the female voice was hard to decerne from other female voices all in all good performance by her and the male voice was fantastic

Smut + plot = peeeeerrrrrrfection!

Amelia kills it every single time! She is a one click author for me! I’ve read every single book she’s written and enjoyed them all! The narrators killed it again! They are the best!

Good storyline

It has a great storyline but way way too much sex it’s so ridiculous I had to skip Ford every time. I really like the woman narrator but the Meal narrator Put me to sleep every time

The Narrator ruined the listening experience.

Amelia Hutchins did not disappoint in writing another interesting installment of the story. Sadly the Narrator took all the enjoyment out of listening to the story. It painfully took me two weeks, on and off, struggling to listen to the narrator just to finish the story. At times the reading was monotoned, that’s she made even the exciting lovemaking scenes sound like one was listening to a medical description of the act.
The story was 5 shiny stars, unfortunately the Narrator just ruined listening to it for me.

All sex with a little bit of story

I was waiting for this story and was sadly disappointed. I hated the threesome with all of the graphic details and if they said wreck her pu**y one more time. They got their HEA, but it could have been so much better.

Coulda been better

Finally! Been waiting for this aaaaand not what I expected 🤔 It's not a bad end to a great story, just not the 💥🎆 I thought it'd be. There's a super 🥵💦 scene and good resolutions and truths.

Monotonous

Predictable to the point of bore! The series got worse with each book but I was hoping it would finally reach the potential I kept seeing. Maybe a thesaurus would help, if I never hear the word SEX as a reference to any genital part again in my life it will be too soon.

Too much. Too little. Too late.

Too much rhetoric sex that was backed by violence and, control. There wasn't a way to emotionally connect to the H\h because of huge issues backed by secrets and more mindless useless sex verbiage. I stopped the book to ask why does the Author hate these characters so much.? if not hate why so many unsolved issues accepted as normal behavior?. I get it. monsters aren't human. But it seems a goal for the monsters to want to love and feel and care about someone. To attain human traits. I will need to be careful... if I ever read this Author again. I expected more. I got too much too little then it was too late...

BORING AF

OMG! so boring! not much of a story and to compensate it loads and loads of sex scenes.. don't get me wrong, i love good erotica, but here it was just too much! to the point I couldn't listen anymore. At the book 4 and there is still no plot.. it doesn't make sense. Feels like its written just to make a word count - loads of BS..
