Love the series but not this book

I loved the series, but the first half of this book (and the second half of book 4) do not live up to the quality of the rest of the series.

Kat was actually kind of starting to annoy me! Also, too much sex in the first half - it dominated so much that it felt like there was no story. I kept thinking, “Come on! Get the story moving already!” The second half, I couldn’t understand how Josh had any interest in Kat. I don’t know if any man that would stick around if a woman acted like she does! It seems that he only does because of sex. She was too annoying in this book - childish even.

Disappointing after the rest of the series being so great.

SUBLIME STORYTELLING

It just keeps getting better and better!
The story flowed so effortlessly you just didn't ever want it to end.
The fire between Josh & Kat burned even Hotter throughout this book & you see them become more emotionally invested in each other.
The Infatuation left me with mixed feelings about Josh...However, all it took was one scene in this book & my heart broke & melted for Joshua. Oh Wow! Loved this one!
We are not on some Mickey Mouse Rollercoaster here people...We are on the ride of our Lives!!!...Just Freakin Awesome!

(Listened to Audible version) Lauren Rowe, you're KILLING me!! I loved this installment. Hilarious, smart, sexy, and absolutely heart wrenching. The last 2 chapters!! UGH!! Perfection. My heart still hurts in the very best way :) Absolutely cannot wait for the next installment. If you're on the fence about reading anything by this author, DO NOT HESITATE.

WOWEE IT ISN'T JUST CHEMISTRY.. IT'S SEXUAL FUSION

I was desperate to climb aboard and continue on this high speed roller coaster ride about the very sexy relationship that Kat and Josh have developed but, at the same time, I wanted to delay it too because, being a Trilogy, I knew something was going to shatter their blissfully happy bubble. And I just didn't want to get to the bad bits because, like them, I too wanted to wallow for a while in their hard won blossoming happiness..... but eventually I got to the diabolical earth shattering Chapters where their bubble bursts..... which was so devastating, frustrating, heartbreaking and scream-worthy.

This listen was perfection but it was emotional torture too because, in book 1, I was anxiously waiting for one of them to finally cave and give in to the other and when it eventually happened it was everything I could have wished for. And their feelings, desires and bond continues to grow in this listen along with their dirty talks and sexual fantasies as they start to act out on some of them..... which was hot, humorous and humbling to hear about because these two lovers really got each other, really fit together and really needed one another too.

I obsessively devoured each Chapter and rationed my intake to prolong and savor this highly charged journey.... through the hot steamy days and nights, through the witty banter and through the planning of their joint fantasies. But eventually, after giving me a truly wonderful romance, Lauren Rowe dug her Author's knife into my heart with that ending and then happily twisted it with the shocking events that followed. A full line up of interesting secondary characters who weaved in and out of this sweet, tender, passionate and torturous romance that was told from both Josh and Kat's POV's and the great narration was the cherry on top of an already spectacular cake.

Worth a credit? Oh boy YES I love love love this couple (and all their friends/relatives), I'm in awe of Lauren Rowe's ability to deliver a breathtaking romance and Josh, well he's become my unbeatable No.1 Hero. DO NOT hesitate to download all the books in this epic series because you won't regret it.

Way too long!

The conflict just went on & on. Way too long and skipped chapters to speed it up.

I liked jay in the first book but she is an a hole in this one. And she uses her zodiac sign to justify her behavior? And he acts like an idiot (which does not match his “douchey” personality).

The language was absolutely ridiculous at times. I am not adverse to foul language. But some of the phrases sound like something you would hear in a grade school hallway. And this affected many of the exchanges.

Some cute and funny parts. There were times I laughed out loud. But overall found this to be unmemorable.

This was funnier and hotter than the first. That kidnapping roleplay had me rolling at the sheer ridiculousness 🤣 Then all the porn fantasies! ❤

Holy sh:t balls!

This was one of the funniest books I’ve read/heard- I laughed out loud so many times people gave me weird looks!! Everything else was great too! But oh so funny!!

Josh & Kat

Audible Escapes review. Dual POV. Book 2 in the Kat & Josh trilogy, ends on a cliffhanger. Female chapters read by the author. The second narrator, John Lane, is frequently over dramatic in his narration of the male chapters POV. Pop culture references are frequent (particularly the movies 'Ocean's 11' and 'The Bodyguard'). Trigger warnings: two murders, suicide attempt, drug/alcohol use and reference to a previous rape victim.

This book picks up directly after 'Infatuation'. Joshua William Faraday (30 years old, aka Josh/Playboy/PB) is apparently a wealthy player with great friends, has an unspecified job at Faraday & Sons in L.A. and a twin brother named Jonas. Katherine Ula Morgan (aka Kat/Party Girl with a hyphen/PG/terrorist) is the only girl in a family with 5 children, a jealous streak a mile wide and a vivid imagination. Kat has a job in PR that she rarely attends. Kat finally reads Josh's application to the sex club he applied and hired a year before their story starts in this trilogy. Josh finally starts to let his guard down and let Kat in but not as quickly as Kat would like. Josh has suffered great tragedy and has good reason to put walls up to protect himself. After all, Josh calls her "terrorist" for a reason.

The fantasy role play sex scenes are very steamy. JP

as Kats brother series were amazing, and Kat in them was somewhat ok, after this book, I just want to slap living shit out if the Kat and Josh, how honestly half of the book You Can just skip.
