Publisher's Summary
Looking for a warm and fuzzy tale about a colorful preacher and his congregation of lively church folk? How about a feel-good story full of life lessons, good morals, and happy endings? Well, keep looking because this isn't it.
Reverend Cash is the story of a street hustler turned preacher from the mean streets of the south side of Memphis, TN. Reverend Cash is a player, a pimp, and a preacher all rolled into one. To him the pulpit is just another hustle to feed his greed and licentiousness.
The perfidious preacher doesn't have a holy bone in his body, yet he still manages to ascend the ranks of the clergy. He hits the big time when he hijacks the helm of a megachurch in Atlanta, GA. In his wake he leaves behind a trail of death and destruction.
In the words of Reverend William Cash, Let Us Prey!

Nasty
This book is horrible. I will be receiving a refund. The title does not go with this book. The book had some funny parts in the beginning with the buffalo girls. But then the book took a dark side with the sibling having sex. Which was gross. Then the preacher raps the junior ministry. The book kept going downhill. Then there is rape in prison. That was it for me. The book has to much gross and disgusting parts for me. If I could give it no stars I would.

Well this book was something that words can’t explain. I laughed, cried, prayed, and even cussed while listening to this book. The storyline is so unrealistic as a whole but I’m sure parts could be true individually. Overall a good book. Rev Cash was a beast!

interesting
This was an interesting listen. I think had I read it it would have been a serious drama. However, since I chose to listen to the audio, which is my preference, I found this to be quite comical even through its raw delivery. don't believe it was meant to be a comedy. I can see why some who are sensitive to certain topics may call feel that the author's "raw" storytelling was too much. However, I don't believe the story could have been told without including ALL the elements that created the good Reverend. My full review will be posted soon. These are my initial thoughts after listening.
