perfect and relevant resource

This audiobook is a really good resource for teens right now. The pandemic is just so recent and relevant to everyone. Anxiety is on the rise and I think people are needing more support like this. This book will help break down the reasons why anxiety and panic happen in the first place, and explains the things we do to let it run us over all the time, ultimately keeping us stuck.

The book is super well-narrated and completely delivers the author's empathetic and solution-driven book in audio form. Not only is the science behind anxiety explained, but you'll also learn physical pieces to anxiety, such as sleep hygiene and other pieces to health that must be in order. I recommend this book and can't wait to tell more people about it.

I needed this for my teens

This is exactly the book I needed. My sons dealt with anxiety firsthand after their abusive father’s suicide. It was difficult for me to relate to them and I remember thinking “if only I could get inside their heads.” This book really helped me to identify triggers and guide outcomes. The teen years are challenging enough on their own but when you are dealing with an anxious teen, your job as a parent is even more challenging. Arm yourself with all the resources-including this book!

Excellent book for anxiety. This book changed my life

Please, please, please read and listen to this book if you or someone you know has anxiety. It is so easy to listen and uses language anyone would understand. It breaks down anxiety to the very physical ways that it is processed in the brain and it makes so much more sense than any other way that it's been explained to me. I've been able to work on some very heavy stuff after reading this book and it's changing my life for the better. I cannot say how much I love this book and how much it's helped me. THANK YOU!!!

GREAT resource for parents!

As the parents of FOUR teenagers this book helps us understand where our teens anxiety is coming from and what to do to work on it. We really found the examples for teens and the issues and topics that lead them to have anxiety or depression! As parents we felt this book offered us insights into how to communicate and discuss these delicate topics with our teens despite of our attempts to limit their social media, we all go through tough times and struggles and it's important to encourage each other and allow our children to talk and build their confidence and allow them to have us help them move forward and beyond struggles of youth !

Great listen.

This was very relaxing. For a subject that can be overwhelming this made it understandable and relatable. Not so many outlets for such a topic but now a great book to start with.

I listened to this audiobook with my teenage daughter who struggles with anxiety. We now have a better understanding of why she feels anxiety and how to cope better with it. The strategies taught in this audiobook are very useful. We learned that by making practical changes and using the strategies outlined that she can deal with her fear of what will happen in the future. She learned why she always feels anxious and how to overcome it. She also learned how to break down the walls of mental health and what triggers her anxiety and what to do about it. Wonderful resource for teens!

Dealing with anxiety can be one of the biggest struggles in life. Add to it the stress and uncertainty of the teen years and it can really be a huge life roadblock that needs to be addressed quickly and effectively.

Luckily this book unveils a number of techniques that are easily implemented into daily life that can adequately combat common anxiety-provoking triggers. The content is super effective and is definitely unique to what I've listening in on from other audiobooks and YouTube videos.

The narration quality is also great - I absolutely recommend it!

Such an Important Resource!

Teen years are easily the most ungrounded and difficult times in life, or so I found. I have worked with several anxious teens and I can easily remember what it felt like to be that age, and with today's world I do not envy teens today! I wish I had this book for myself back then. It is written in a way that is easy to understand, the suggestions are relevant and easy to apply to daily life. I will recommend this book to any teens I work with in the future.

I wish I had this as a teen

This book is a bounty of help. I truly wish I had it as a teen, however that being said it still helps me now I'm a bit older!
It's a tough stage of life between child and adult, many have so much on their shoulders that it causes such defects in mental stability.
This book helps with that. I'd recommend it if you're struggling!!
