Publisher's Summary

"When I was just nine years old, I began learning how to become rich by playing the game of Monopoly®. If I'd just been lectured to about money management, financial responsibility, and investing, I doubt I would have listened and I doubt I would have achieved financial freedom early in life. Instead, I might be stuck in the Rat Race working hard, deeply in debt, and worried about keeping my job or having enough money for my retirement. But because I enjoyed learning when I was young, I wanted to learn more. I was on the road to financial intelligence."
—Robert Kiyosaki, author of Rich Dad Poor Dad

You're never too young to start! In Escape the Rat Race, you’ll find out:

  • How "working to learn, not to earn" paves the way to money-making opportunities.
  • The basics of making money by creating assets.
  • How to make money work hard for you, so that you don't have to work so hard for money.

From the author of Rich Dad Poor Dad - the #1 New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and USA Today best seller.

Great Story, Okay performance, but not for me.

This feels like an episode from an 80s sitcom/drama. Which, if you're into nostalgic acting then you might enjoy this short story.

The voice acting would be dated even for today's kids. I was trying to see if I could gain some insight for my kids in the near future (age 9 and 6) but I would say they would probably not listen to this story.

For where I am in life (34, family, small business owner) I do not recommend it. It's basically a "Rich Dad Poor Dad" excerpt.

Eye Opener

Very practical way of bringing the subject of wealth building. It all starts with discovering opportunities and and acting on them. I will definitely bring this to my children and I hope they are receptive. I love it!

Pleasant fun entertaining book on perceiving financial opportunities beyond a regular job. The characters sounded very light-hearted and enthusiastic. Kids would definitely gravitate to this book

Clear, Direct, and Funny

Throughout the years, I was not able to understand the Rich Dad Poor Dad concept. After listening to this audio book, I now understand the why and the how. The narration was funny and exciting. It kept me wanting to learn more.

Perfect for friends and family on long drives and commutes. Thank you Robert for bringing fourth life education for all ages especially where finance illiteracy is so rampant.

Life lesson

I would literally recommend this book to every human that breathes air. This book inspired me as an 18 year old that has no idea what their gonna do with their life. This is the first book I ever read (literally) and I genuinely enjoyed every single word of it.

Fun title about money management for kids.

This book explains true financial literacy in a way that children can connect with. The information is powerful and would be useful to anyone who doesn't want to be stuck in the 'rat race' anymore.

Cute but more of the same

The comic book kind of story was cute but it is nothing more than what he says in all of his other books. Very short- make your money work for you by saving and investing in a variety of ways and keep an eye on new opportunities.

the Squeaky voice was a bit Jarring

It was a little hard to get through audio wise. There was one voice that was quite annoying and the story because of the dialogue felt a bit dated which i found a bit distracting. i think i want to read the book, because i enjoyed and found useful chapter 5.

Inspiring for my kids

My three kids (11 and under) all enjoyed listening to the easy to listen story and are understanding that you don’t want to work for money. Best listened with your kids to pause and explain or ask questions of your kids.
