Publisher's Summary

Riley Thorn and her hot tattooed private investigator boyfriend are all moved in to their new fixer-upper. Not only do they finally have their own place they also haven’t found any new dead bodies on the premises.

Yep. It looks like summer is over, and so is Riley’s bad luck. Or is it?

While Nick gives up sleeping and showering to obsess over the cold case that still haunts him, his business partner Mrs. Penny is calling the investigative shots. It’s every bit as bad as you can imagine.

Meanwhile, Riley has her hands full fixing up the crumbling crime scene they call home and setting boundaries with the breaking-and-entering octogenarians next door. You know. Normal stuff.

But normal comes to a screeching halt when our favorite psychic is abducted by a stranger with candy, and her powers go on the fritz. To make matters worse, it becomes clear that Riley’s new house guests are definitely either in trouble or are trouble after bad guys deliver a warning with a severed finger.

Can Nick and Riley solve the case the old-fashioned way before they all end up in pieces? Or will a surprise birthday party, a dog doody bandit, an accidental arson, and a blast from the past be too much for them to handle?

Primo Entertainment

Lucy Score delivers another laugh out loud hilarious masterpiece in the Blast from the Past! I am in awe of Ms Score’s creative genius, her imagination and penchant for developing lovable, quirky characters and delightfully eccentric communities has no bounds.
The narration by Natalie Duke is phenomenal!
Nick, Riley and their investigative team, including Ms Penny - the ever energetic octogenarian “silent partner” in Santiago investigations, is back again woking some Primo pro bono cases and solving a mystery of an unexpected visitor from the past, who brings about the present danger. And the danger will keep you on the edge, while simultaneously rolling on the floor laughing at the witty and hysterical plot twists that will have everyone giggling uncontrollably.
Just look out for the “Code Man Fanny”!
I absolutely loved this book and definitely recommend to everyone looking for a fun relaxing read!

Awesome!

These books are better every time. The narrator is so funny and the whole story is so funny and so different but not weird. All of the characters develop but they don’t go through these weird giant life changes that make the story unpleasant enjoying. Just hysterically, funny and so clever.

An Uproarious Blast!!

🔮Riley Thorn And The Blast From The Past Narrated by Natalie Duke🔮

Once Again Riley Thorn had Lacey and I convinced that things would never be the same!!

I shouldn't worry, of course, with Lucy Score at the helm we know she can turn any story into *chef's kiss* perfection - but was this the one where Lilly and Miss Penny were going to drag her down to mediocrity?

Nick Santiago Investigations has somehow gotten tricked into allowing Lilly and Miss Penny into helping with "Primo Investigations", and while all that's going on Santiago and Kellen's biggest case from six years ago just strolled right back in to Kellen's life.

Kellen is understandably ticked off, and while Riley tries to help by finding out where their mystery guest has been all this time - it seems like she's suddenly been struck by the psychic flu. As usual Nicky and Kellen's mystery guest was up to her eyeballs in lies, and every time the woman started spreading her lies Riley's head started spinning!

Every one tried to help, even Riley's Grandmother, who suddenly gave permission to use her real name, and recommended the same thing Wander, Gabe, and her mother kept saying - Riley needed to rest!

Of course mass hilarity ensues, from flame throwing teenage jerks who are scared of spiders, to a house full of lusty hormonal men turned on and... giggling?!? It is probably the funniest Riley Thorn we've read yet, all the way down to the bitter end. Lacey just stared at my speakers begging that not to be the end, and then asking me to DM Lucy because she has some serious "explaining to do!" Don't worry, we'll wait patiently for Riley Thorn #4 from the front seat of our truck.

Continued sarcasm, romance, and mystery

As much as I REALLY like this author - the narrator for the audiobooks truly brings these characters to life!! Given the range of her voice and accents, you actually feel as if you are there - watching the scene unfold in front of you! She is just uncommonly good - and a perfect match with author’s perspective on life! This is book 2 of Riley Thorn’s adventures and every bit as entertaining as her first book - given her adventures with Nick Santiago continue!

Romcom, mystery, and mayhem

So far the first 3 books have been non-stop, fun-filled, entertainment. The main characters and their romance is delightfully frustrating, the side characters are a hoot and the plot of each book is intriguing. Excellent narrator. A great listen and 5 worthy stars
