Publisher's Summary
Paul Janson, a character first featured in Robert Ludlum's best-selling novel The Janson Directive, has a new goal: save the world, one operative, one mission, one redemption at a time. Reformed from his days of covert-operations, Paul Janson has set a new mission for himself.
Working in partnership with champion sharpshooter Jessica Kincaid, he rehabilitates disenchanted agents and helps them create new lives outside of the violent intelligence sector. These former operatives then form a network of support for Janson when it comes to his other job - Janson also takes on independent assignments. For a fee, he'll use his skills to resolve international crises. But only those actions that he believes contribute to the greater good of all.
Whether he's rescuing an American doctor from Somalian pirates, attacking militant thugs intent on murdering a West African public servant agitating for human rights, or hunting the money lenders who capitalize on barbaric civil war, Janson stays honest with three simple rules: 1) No torture. 2) No civilian casualties. 3) No killing anyone who doesn't try to kill them.
Yet with his commitment to doing what is right - while facing canny intelligence operatives, ruthless warlords, deep sea marauders, or brutal dictators - Janson finds that his most difficult task is figuring out if he's fighting for the good side.

Not as good as the previous books in the series
This is a good mystery novel. However, it's not as good as the earlier books. I found I could put it down at about any time. I prefer real page turners that keep me up until late at night. It's worth using a credit but if I had my choice of a Clive Cussler, Ted Bell or Dean Koonts at the same time as this, this would be at the bottom of the list. I'd say it was just an average read but still worth using a credit the Grayman novels.

A "Ludlum Like" Classic!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Paul did an excellent job! Can't wait for the next one. Each time a book is written about a Ludlum character I order it and save it for a special occasion, because as usual I can't put it down. The Janson Command was no exception. If you like Robert Ludlum characters and writing style this novel is a must read or listen.
Any additional comments?
Paul you need to write more espionage. This was an outstanding novel. I couldn't find any more on audible.

Fast Moving and Action Filled!
I really like this book, the story was always moving and did not bog down with details.
The character involvement was excellent. The interaction between all the character was realistic and believable.
I wouldn't say this was Robert Ludlum book, it does however keep the same Janson story line.
I would not say you should read the books before this one in order to understand this one. It was a great story of it's own. Although it did follow the other Janson books.
It was a good book and I really had a great time listening to it.

Getting to read about Paul Janson again, after so many years, was just exhilarating. Garrison did an outstanding job writing this novel, and I eagerly look forward to getting to read more about Janson in the future. I recommend this book to any old Ludlum fans, it is a great read.
