Publisher's Summary

From number-one best-selling and USA Today best-selling author Jack Mars, author of the critically acclaimed Luke Stone and Agent Zero series (with over 5,000 five-star reviews), comes an explosive new action-packed thriller series that takes listeners on a wild ride across Europe, America, and the world.

When elite Navy SEAL Troy Stark is forced into retirement for his dubious respect for authority, he dreads the quiet life awaiting him with his brothers and buddies in Yonkers, New York. But the quiet doesn’t last long: The NYPD needs Troy’s military expertise to help find and stop a major terrorist threat to New York City. To preempt the attack, they need him to fly to Europe and stop it at its source—using any means necessary.

Troy finds himself partnered with an Interpol agent who is as different from him as can be, and their instant dislike is mutual. But they have an attack to stop and only a few days to do it, and together they’ll need each other as they crisscross Europe in a high-octane cat-and-mouse chase to shut these terrorists down.

But what starts off as a straightforward mission (and an opportunity to clear his name) soon catapults Troy headfirst into a global conspiracy. These criminals are more sophisticated than they appear, and even with Troy’s unparalleled military skills, he and his team find themselves constantly one stop behind. With the fate of New York City on the line, the stakes couldn’t be higher.

Where will they strike? And when? And can Troy stop it before it’s too late?

An unputdownable action thriller with heart-pounding suspense and unforeseen twists, Rogue Force is the debut novel in an exhilarating new series by a number-one best-selling author that will have you fall in love with a brand-new action hero—and listen late into the night.

Not up to Jack Mars past book.

Narrator was lacking to bad. Almost returned audiobook. Since I paid for it, I listened. Parts were good and the ending was satisfying. Sure hope Mars gets a new performance talent for next book. General theme needs som work

Narrator destroyed the book

The story seemed ok, but I couldn’t get past my disdain for the author. Every sentence ends with down talk…as if the paragraph or thought was over. Little emotion. Couldn’t get into it. Distracting and disappointed.

Disappointed

After listening to all 12 agent zero books I was excited to start a new series with this author.
It’s spoke with the total failure and even the stars I gave were overrated. The narrator was absolutely awful. Perhaps the next time does the narrator works he should get rid of his cold first. His drawl was absolutely annoying. I really did not care about any of the characters and it did not matter to me whether any of them lived or died. Quite a difference from agent zero. If I may make one suggestion if the story continues get a different narrator. look forward to getting a credit for this book when I return it.

Narrator seemed computerized.

Story line develops quickly. The narration seemed computerized. I checked my audible speed several times thinking it had changed. Overall, it was entertaining.

Hard to tell

The narration was so distractingly bad it was hard to tell how good the story was. Seemed to be a decent Jack Mars story overall and I fought through to finish it, but certainly won’t be listening to another one if they continue with this narrator.

Decent story, terrible narrator

This is a typical Jack Mars storyline and it was mostly enjoyable. I listened to the end(obviously) but my main grudge is with the narrator. He stumbled at times and was not eloquent whatsoever. I hope that the next installment will find a different story teller. Fingers crossed!
