Story
Princess Lenora Celeste Beatrice Arabella Pembrook had an unusual childhood. She was raised to be a queen - the first queen of Wessco. It’s a big deal. When she’s crowned at just 19, the beautiful young monarch is prepared to rule. She’s charming, clever, confident, and cunning. What she isn’t...is married. It’s her advising council’s first priority. It’s what Parliament is demanding, and what her people want. Lenora has no desire to tie herself to a man - particularly one who only wants her for her crown. But compromises must be made and royals must do their duty.

The first time I met Merrick Crawford was during my job interview. Well, technically, I’d met him 20 minutes earlier when he’d barged into a fitting room a few doors down from my appointment. I yelled. He yelled. After an argument while standing in my bra, I proceeded to smash the door into the gorgeous jerk, trying to yank it shut. As you might imagine, I was freaked out when I discovered that the rude guy was my potential new boss. Yet he didn’t seem to recognize me. Or so I thought.... Until we wound up bickering again during my interview and he told me to go sniff my armpit.

Publisher's Summary
Logan St. James is a smoldering, sexy beast. Sure, he can be a little broody at times - but Ellie Hammond's willing to overlook that. Because, have you seen him?
Sexy. As. Hell.
And Ellie's perky enough for both of them.
For years she's had a crush on the intense, protective royal security guard - but she doesn't think he ever saw her, not really.
To Logan, Ellie was just part of the job - a relative of the royal family he'd sworn to protect. Now, at 22 years old and fresh out of college, she's determined to put aside her X-rated dreams of pat-downs and pillow talk and find a real life happily ever after.
The Queen of Wessco encourages Ellie to follow in her sister's footsteps and settle down with a prince of her own. Or a duke, a marquis…a viscount would also do nicely.
But in the pursuit of a fairy-tale ending, Ellie learns that the sweetest crushes can be the hardest to let go.
***
Logan St. James grew up on the wrong side of the tracks, in a family on the wrong side of the law. But these days he covers his tattoos and scars with a respectable suit. He's handsome, loyal, brave, skilled with his hands and…other body parts.
Any woman would be proud to bring him home to her family.
But there's only one woman he wants.
For years he's watched over her, protected her, held her hair back when she was sick, taught her how to throw a punch and spot a liar.
He dreams of her. Would lay down his life for her.
But beautiful Ellie Hammond's off limits.
Everybody knows the bodyguard rules:
Never lose focus, never let them out of your sight, and never, ever fall in love.

Cringing
How to abuse the talent of a deep-voiced, supremely sexy narrator:
Make him read in the voice of a whiney teen girl. For hours. Oh, Shane East, I'm so sorry. What they did to you is unspeakable.
I loved the first Royally book, skipped the second because I hate bachelor reality shows, but the idea of grown-up Ellie appealed and I hoped to love this one as much as I did her big sister Olivia's book.
Welp, the blurb lies. Ellie is not 22. For the first two plus hours she is an insecure and babyish 18 year old, crushing on her bodyguard. And she whines. And whines. Poor Shane.
DNF. I just can't. Returning for credit.

After Books 1 & 2, this was a refreshing twist!
I fell in love with this family/world that was created in the first two books, so I knew that I was going to listen to Book 3 of course! But wondered how it might compare, since this love story didn't involve a "Royal" as the former ones had. But the drama and romance between Logan and Ellie had been brewing behind the scenes for so long, that once we get "read in" with the details it's impossible not to be swept up yet again! I love the way Emma Chase wrote this series, where the timelines of each story reference back to events that you remember from the previous books, only from another person's perspective - A+ for that alone! And I originally thought it would be strange to hear the same narrators perform new characters in each book, but now I've realised that I could listen to And Arndt and Shane East read Dr. Seuss and I'd be happy. I'm starting the 4th book now, from what I understand it's sort of a prequel to these, centred on the Queen when she was younger. Quite interested to see what she was like, and to meet the "portrait on the wall" in the flesh!

Another winner from Emma Chase!
4.5 stars
Emma Chase never fails to write a book I absolutely love, and Royally Endowed is no exception. I loved the first two in the series, and this slow-burn sweet romance did not disappoint at all.
“Everybody knows the bodyguard rules: Never lose focus, never let them out of your sight, and never, ever fall in love.”
Logan is ex-military and grew up rough. At 22 he has seen and experienced more horrors than most people ever do. He is so honored to be part of the elite Royal guard and he would never jeopardize that. Royally Endowed runs concurrently to the first two books so we see Ellie, the Duchess’s sister again in high school, working at her dad’s diner and making pies. Her sweet, funny, ‘grab life by the 'bleep'’ attitude is a pleasure to watch and you can’t help but fall for her. Logan is in charge of keeping her safe, and it’s sweet to see the 17 year old crushing on the big, strong, gruff bodyguard.
"Because Logan would never let anything bad happen to any of us. And I believe with all my heart that there’s nothing he can’t do."
The story jumps ahead over years and we see Ellie’s feelings just keep getting stronger though she hasn’t really come out and admitted it. Logan has the same feelings for Ellie, but she is still too young, off limits, the Prince’s sister-in-law!
"Hey Logan?”
“Yeah?”
“One of these days . . . I’m going to save you back.”
Logan became her friend, her protector, her cheering section and her world.
“So it’s like a . . . you jump, I jump, Jack and Rose kind of thing?”
“No.” I take her hand in mine, brushing my thumb against her knuckles. “You jump . . . and I’ll be there to catch you.”
Royally Endowed is the definition of a slow-burn romance, and I loved it! And once she was older and Logan finally gave into the feelings he had, that burn was no longer slow!
Somebody once told me a slow-burning fire is the hottest— and it must be true. Because Logan and I are a "bleeping' inferno.
Though Logan has never really known the meaning of love, once he feels it, he knows what to do instinctively.
"I would die for her. Kill for her, live for her. The vow echoes through me with every beat of my heart. She is the most important person in my life. She has been from the beginning, and she always will be. There will never be another. "
When danger comes calling, my heart was in my throat, tears pouring down my face.
“I promised her. I swore I would keep her safe. Be her guard, her wall, so she could fly free. And I will not 'bleep' fail her.
Likes:
•How the books ran concurrently to the previous two over time.
•A true slow-burn that spanned years.
•Visiting with all the previous characters, including the queen who I kind of love and hate at the same time.
•The contrast between the gruff, taciturn bodyguard and the sweet and sunny girl.
•I love how hard he tried to fight his growing feelings.
•The sexy Wessco accent.
•Years of unrequited love built into great passion.
•How I was brought to my knees with tears because I was feeling the character’s feelings, even though I knew there was no need.
•All the babies! Awwwwww…..
Dislikes:
•It was a bit predictable, but I think most romances are, especially one with a bodyguard, you know they have to use the skill sometime, right?
Narration:
I absolutely love Shane East and his Wessco accent! And Arndt felt a little old for the heroine at first but she grew on me. I think the accent makes this book better in audio than kindle. Who can resist a sexy accent?
The Down & Dirty:
At the beginning of this series, I never thought I’d like a story about royalty of a fake country, it just seems so cheesy and like a kids’ fairytale. But I have loved every word Emma had written prior, so I trusted her, and fell in love. This is another favorite series, and this last installment was just as great (even better in some ways) than the others. While it can stand alone ok, I would say you really need to read from the beginning of the series to fully appreciate the whole thing. Royally Endowed was the perfect mix of slow burn love, opposites attract, unrequited love, forbidden romance, romantic comedy, bodyguard romance and romantic suspense all in one, and I felt every emotion, including good and bad tears, laughter and lots of swoons.

Sweet and salty
I have been waiting for this one. I figured that Ellie's story would be the one that I loved the most and it was true. That little free spirited sprite won my heart as well as Logan's heart. We all knew they would end up together. It was bound to be this way but the story was still full of surprises that I didn't anticipate.
Shane East and Andi Arndt did a great job. I was wondering how Andi would pull off such a younger and more youthful character, but she did do a good job. The problem with narrating so many audios is that you can get places in a box but I think Andi does such a good job at staying out of that box. Shane's accent drives me mad and I could listen to it all day.

I thoroughly enjoyed the series and wish there was more of it to read. I loved Ellie and Logan's storyline. I enjoyed the way Emma Chase developed the relationship and the way the timeline was told. Of course Shane East and Andi Arndt did an excellent job bringing the story to life. This is the first series of Emma Chase that I've read but look forward to checking out her other books. No Fairy Tale
I went back and listened to the whole series again before I started "Endowed." The first two volumes are charming, sexy fairy tales. Sadly, the third book lacks that charm.
Ellie is young.... too young. And that's a bit creepy. But I think the real problem with the novel is we never really get to know the characters very well. And other than her age, Ellie is pretty much perfect. There's a reason heroines are flawed in one way or another -- it's easier to relate to them. As it is, Ellie is really young but otherwise cute, perky, and smart. That's pretty much all we know about her. And Logan is intense, gorgeous, and capable. I wish the author would have given us real people with flaws, not just pretty characters. But because they were superficial, my feelings for them were superficial as well.
As always, Andi Arndt's performance was wonderful. And I think I once described Shane East's voice as liquid chocolate. Yum.

Bodyguard romance
What made the experience of listening to Royally Endowed the most enjoyable?
This is a great series which I think has got better as it continues. In this story it is about the attraction between Logan and Ellie. An attraction that began during the first book in the series. The story is really good, it goes back in time and tells how the attraction began with them and developed. With stories that fall between the first and second book in the series. I loved reading the story and how they tried to resist the attraction. It was a really good funny story that included an epilogue which was a perfect end to the series. Definitely a good book that I will read again and that I recommend. Xxx

Fab story and narration
I love Ellie - she's so energetic, and full of life. Plus she's hilarious. She's so trusting, and wants to live her life to the fullest. Logan is tasked with the job of protecting Ellie - and she's been attracted to him from the very beginning. Logan takes his job as bodyguard very seriously so pushes aside any feelings he has. For a while.
This book had me hooked from the prologue - I knew it was going to be good. It's told in dual POV ( yay, love having both perspectives ), and the story does move quickly in increments of time. This does not detract from the storytelling at all, and it was fun seeing Logan's feelings change as Ellie matures over that time. The story is so humorous at times, thanks mainly to Ellie's hilarity. Also - I loved listening to the 2 narrators, Andi Arndt and Shane East, they were SO GOOD as Ellie and Logan.

Loved this book
Have listened to this story three times. A story within a story. Listened to the others in the "Royally" series but this is my favourite. Loved hearing the story of all the characters from the other books. Well written and narrated.

So much love
From the moment Elly came downstairs in her pjs did a weird dance only to find Nicholas and Logan watching her and she complimented him I knew this would be epic.
their story is just sigh worthy. This whole series has been re-listened to three or more times each book. The story never gets old and The way it flows and just nests in your heart. sigh. I can't sing more praices for Emma Chase and this masterpiece of a series let alone this standalone.
