Publisher's Summary

There will be a royal wedding. The only question: who will be my groom?

An arranged marriage isn’t the worst fate for a princess like me. Especially because I’ve been in love with my intended groom since we were children. But when my prince shows up with an American girlfriend instead of an engagement ring, all arrangements are off.

The clock is nearing midnight; I won’t turn into a pumpkin, but if I’m not wed by summer’s end, I’ll forfeit my kingdom. Just your typical royal dilemma.

Out of sheer desperation, I make a deal with a devilish duke. Rafe de Silva is the prince’s rival and has a plan so ridiculous it just might work.

One moment, Rafe seems to relish making the prince jealous, and the next, he’s making me question everything with his words, his touch, and his ability to melt my Ice Princess persona.

I’m not always given the luxury of choice, but now I have a huge one to make. I only hope I don't lose my crown, my heart, or myself in the process…

Royally Rearranged is a sizzling, swoony, closed-door romantic comedy.

Loved it even better this time!

WHAT IT'S ABOUT
There WILL be a royal wedding. The only question--who will be my groom?

MY TAKE
ETA--the audiobook recently came out, and I got it right away. The narrators, Kylie Stewart and James Joseph did a great job (with the possible exception of pronouncing Rafe's name--that could just be me though).

But it's fascinating to me how much more I loved this book the second time! When I read the ebook, even with the prologue, how Rafe acted was a major turnoff for me. This time, however, knowing him as I do, I saw through the act. And I have to say that I LOVE Rafe. He's one of my favorite of St. Clair male leads. There's depth to him and a heartbreaking tragedy. He questions if he's good enough for Seraf--but the real question is whether she's good enough for him.

This time around, I'm giving it a full five stars.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
I've read books in several of St. Clair's series, and thoroughly enjoyed them. I think this is my favorite one so far.

Serafina irritated me a bit at first. She's an adult and will likely be queen on her birthday in two months, but she's a total puppet to her parents' wish. She's also stuck on the idea she's in love with idiot Prince Callum (the other half of what's supposed to be an arranged marriage), even though he's turned playboy the last year and stopped writing to her. When she finally puts on her big-girl panties, it's sweet to see.

Rafe. Oh, my heck. His irritating flirting and smirks would make me nuts, but I loved the way he really saw Seraf. He's a deep and complicated squishy bad boy. His backstory is heartbreaking and how she's helped him (unknowingly) for so many years makes his love for her sooo tender! He'll do anything to make her happy, even see her married to his arch enemy Callum--if that's what she wants.

There's a point in the story where it could have taken a cliché path to resolution between Serafina and Rafe. St. Clair does do it, and I wanted to applaud the scene.

A lovely story I'll be sure to revisit.

Another great story from Emma St. Clair!

I listened to this audiobook in record time because I couldn't get enough of Serafina and Rafe. I loved it from beginning to end. Emma St. Clair's books are always a treat to read, and I can't wait for the next book in this series.

Cute story

Overall I really liked this book. The plot line moved quickly. The characters were relatable. The narration was good. And of course I loved the happy ending.
Now let me tell you why I gave it four stars. I love a story were the characters communicate and comm well and this story did not have that. There were a lot of internal dialogue and assumptions but no person to person communication which made me want to yell at the leads to just talk to each other. That got frustrating and annoying. I do get tired of reading a rogue and a virgin story. I would have liked to have read he was not as loose as he was written since he had been in love with her since childhood. I also found the jabs about America to be annoying as well.
But over all I did enjoy the book and would recommend this book to be read or listen too.

Cute easy story

This was like a breath of fresh air! A really cute rom-com that had me grinning, empathizing and truly enjoying. There was a perfect balance of empowering a strong female MC without bashing or weakening men. There was a great description of the history that defined the characters and their relationships without getting carried away or off track. There was a happily ever after but wasn’t too cheesy. Based on this title, my first by this author, I’ll read more Emma St Clair.
The narrators were mostly great! I did have one tiiiny little annoyance with the female narrator- the way she said, “said” (or “replied” “thought”, etc) after a quoted line. The inflection didn’t fit and ended up driving me a bit crazy, but was small enough not to turn me off if the story or her completely. Otherwise i loved their inflection and interpretation of the characters.

Light-hearted and charming

First Emma st Clair read, rather listen, for me. Easy going love story with some lightly steamy scenes. Enjoyed the transformation of the MCs love interest and well done with getting me to root for him and not "the other guy". The beginning took a bit to get into with the 'present day' start and then into a few letter scenes.
I was a bit worried the entire book was letters. but it is not. The letters were actually important for the set-up. Overall I enjoyed it and was excited to press play each time I had the opportunity to listen.

A fabulously sweet story

This is a fabulously sweet story. A fairy tale with a twist. Also brilliantly narrated.
