Publisher's Summary

A daredevil prince wants to pay me mega-bucks to train him to hold his breath underwater for 10 minutes? Sign me up.

Except I’m a magician, not a stunt consultant. My record-beating dive without air was a trick. Of course, I can’t tell that to my client, the royally hot Anatolio Cezaroff, a.k.a. Tigger. Not if I want to be able to pay my rent.

Also, I’m not exactly comfortable around germs. All germs, including those lurking on uber-attractive men. So falling for my gorgeous client is out of the question, and I fully intend to keep my distance.

That is, until he offers to train me in bed.

Note: This is a raunchy, slow-burn stand-alone romantic comedy featuring a movie-obsessed, germophobic heroine who's dying to be a famous magician, a scorching hot Ruskovian prince who loves to live on the edge, and two oversized dogs who may or may not have caused said prince's wardrobe malfunction. If any of the above is not your cup of tea, run far, far away. Otherwise, buckle in for a laugh-out-loud, feelgood ride.

EXCELLENT!!!

I enjoyed this performance of an engaging story. I usually skip sex scenes because they are boringly unoriginal. This is the first book in years that I couldn't wait for them. Erin Mallon is a performance treasure. Her inflections garnered sympathy, empathy and hilarity. Since her name is on the cover I'm giving Misha Bell the props. Loved the story.

Tigger meets his Match!!!!

What a great story!!! When we meet Tigger (Hard Ware) and see more of him in Hard Byte, his character begins to emerge. In Hard Byte, we meet Gia, Holly's devious twin. It was good to see Gia and all her quirks as well as Tigger and of course his dogs as well as another Ruskovian Royal.... The characters meshed well, both awed by each other. Plus we get more of the Octoparents and another Hymen sibling... Erin Mallon was brilliant as always, giving voice to Gia and Tigger.... and the epilogue by Jason Clarke was great... I'm looking forward to more by Misha Bell!!!!

Hilarious!

What a riot! I love romcom, it's my favorite trope to read because I love to laugh and have that happy, light feeling when reading. Royally Tricked is an over the top humor that may not appeal to everyone but if you like this kind of humor it was spot on funny.

What I loved about this particular book the most was the uniqueness in characters. Gia was one of a kind because she's a magician. How many books do you read about a female magician? This is my first. She had a true passion for it and it showed throughout the book and it felt genuine. She was fun!

Trigger turned out to be incredibly sweet. He recognized Gia as a gem and did everything he could to accommodate her germaphopia. For a man to go that far for a woman, there is no doubt he loves her.

We get many additional fun and wacky side characters that just round this story out. If you are looking for a laugh, this is it!

All kinds of quirky fun!

Audiobook: Erin Mallon & Jason Clarke

Great narrators! Ms. Mallon carried the bulk of the story but she did an amazing job of emphasizing the hero’s voice as well as that of other characters. This was an engaging performance that kept me listening when I would normally have turned it off for other activities.

What a fun read with lots of quirky, sexy talk! The very definition of rom-com!

This heroine was unique with her phobias that had me laughing one minute and then nearly breaking my heart because of it the next. This has a fast pace and very low angst. I loved all of the characters and I’m crossing my fingers that we get her roommates’ stories.

By Houdini's Balls This Book is FUNNY!

Holy smokes! I downloaded this based on the "hilarious" reviews. I've been so disappointed with my Audible purchases in the last month but this was not one of them. I needed something to pass the time while at an appointment. Several times, I erupted into uncontrollable laughter. This book was so funny and the characters so well written that I didn't want it to end. Both characters were absolutely lovable. Will sign on for more with other books for sure. And who won't want to hear an epilogue from Jason Clarke {insert heart eyes emoji}!!! Nicely done!

Hilarious!

OMG! This story is hilarious!! Tigger and Gia's Romantic Comedy is well written, hilarious, and entertaining. Tigger is amazingly handsome, and very supportive. Gia is lovely, talented, and smart. Her germ-avoiding instinct is tragicomic. The supporting characters are amazing. This story is interconnected with the Hard Code Series. I loved to see again Holly (Gia’s twin sister) and Alex (Hard Byte), and Bella (Hard Ware)! Gia’s parents (octoparents!) are such unconventional, and eccentric characters! I loved the Epilogue, and the appearance of a very special character by the end! Erin Mallon did an excellent job with the narration, and I liked the Epilogue narrated by Jason Clarke. I highly recommend it.

Cute, funny and quirky

In the beginning it took me a bit to get used to the authors style with inner dialigue. Gia is quirky for sure and soon the story fell into place. There are several laugh out loud moments as well. (family dinner scene) I misread the cover and thought this was a duel narration with Jason Clarke, but he only reads the epilogue. Either way, Erin doesn't disappoint. This was my first book by this author and will be listening to her others.

Funny and Delightful

Misha Bell has done it again writing another hilarious and charming rom com. Royally Tricked was a page turner from the first magic trick that led to an instant attraction to the magical HEA. This story captivates you and has you grinning and laughing like a fool. Gia, a germaphobe and magician was a delight. Her inner monologues and quirks make her a likable and funny character. Tigger, the hot daredevil, royal prince from Ruskovia, is fun loving, sweet and romantic. Surprisingly, not like the playboy prince the media makes him out to be.

This story was one of a kind! Filled with magic tricks, steamy slow burn chemistry, and entertaining banter that will have you reading this with smile on your face. Tigger & Gia might seem like an odd pairing but somehow they mesh well. They bring out the best in each other. Reading this was wonderful, but listening to this book on audio was even better. Narrated by the phenomenal storyteller, Erin Mallon, she brought on the comedy on every page. Loved her performance as Gia and Tigger. It was a delight to listen to this on audio and the epilogue narration by the deep growly rumblings of Jason Clarke was perfect way to end this cute RomCom. If you love feel-good, slow burn, laugh out loud RomComs, then definitely add this your TBR.

Still laughing!

Laugh out loud fun, Misha Bell brings us Gia's story and it's a blast! We met Gia when before, one of the twins in the octomom family and she is an up and coming magician, and now is going to teach the handsome Prince Cezaroff how to hold his breath for an extended period under water. Better known as Tigger, he is taken with the germophobic magician, and anything to be near her is worth the time. This slow burn, quirky, adrenaline filled romcom is a perfect listen for a happy, love filled time. Bell brings all the excitement and enjoyment of the crazy sisters and brothers Tigger and Gia have, as well as the hysterically funny octomom parents. The chemistry between these two if off the charts and I love how they interact. It's a wonderful addition to the romcoms and it's highly recommend it.

Erin Mallon is fantastic as always. Her nuances and inflections lead to the quirky personalities and her comedic timing is spot on. Tack on the epilogue of Jason Clarke as Tigger, and his wonderful voice giving us all the feelings he has for Gia, and it's perfect.
