Publisher's Summary

"I've said this before, and I'll keep saying it - Michael Ledwidge is the real deal! You'll thank me for getting you to read Run for Cover. I read it in a day. Great characters, great storytelling, great Ledwidge." (James Patterson)

The next installment in the pulse-pounding Gannon series, featuring murder, intrigue, and a deadly new mystery that may just be his last....

Fresh from a lethal entanglement with some of the deepest and darkest players in the global intelligence services, Michael Gannon heads to the safest place he can think of: deep in the wilds of Utah on the ranch of one of his oldest and closest war buddies.

But when his friend’s brother is found dead in the rocky foothills of Grand Teton, Gannon realizes there are some things more important than keeping your head down. Is his death just one in a string of grisly murders mysteriously occurring around national parks - or a part of something even more sinister?

Flushed from cover, Gannon soon finds himself teamed up with tenacious FBI agent Kit Hagen on the trail of a dangerous mystery and a head-on collision course with a ruthless killer whose skills at war are as deadly as they come.

Disappointment

I enjoyed the first book in this series and looked forward to this release. I could hardly finish this program. It is very disappointing, with totally unbelievable scenarios and a goofy conclusion. I’ve also liked many books co-written by the author and look forward to better efforts in the future.

New Favorite Author!

Great Story! Thank you for your ability to write a story full of excitement without all the excess profanity and sex that many other authors feel that they have to include in their books to make it interesting. I love the fast paced excitement of this book and the development of the characters and story line! Well done! I will definitely look for more of your books!

Too Predictable

The narration was not well done. Didn’t sound real. I like the series but this one fell short

More true to life than we want to know

Very good story. Writing isn’t the best but adequate. I guess the author just used a very likely scenario & just changed the names from Joe & Hunter , George & Bill.

Good Listen

Some reviewers panned this installment. The start of the book was a little disjointed…but as the book developed, I thought the author did a good job. Did I enjoy it as much as the last installment, perhaps not, that is just a personal thing….but I thought it was good. The characters built up as the story went on and the action really ramped up….it’s a good listen that was well narrated. Solid 4 star….

2nd Outing

2.5 stars. This second outing for Mike Gannon is not really at the level of the first book of this series. The writing and story are just average. Disappointing after the rather effective 1st book. The main character is still great, so there is hope for a return to form in future outings. Narration itself is strong and effective if a bit rushed in parts.
