The end or is it?

Of all the books this one was the saddest death of two families the Nelson's and Martinez due to one lie spread by JB Nelson just to cause heartache and trouble. You learn more about other members of the Puckett friends and family who die and in the end the Puckett family is taken away to a new place with other uninfected people to start a new beginning but at the same time mourning for their fallen friends. You see a new beginning for the US with uninfected military members coming home again to help rebuild the country and reclaim what was lost.
But at the sametime you see the lost of D Day due to a bite after a battle and hear of a new president and a possible cure and guess who that is!
Wish there was a book five the author did something I do not like and that is leaving you dangling his books are good but doing this make me wonder if I should purchase others books by him

Sacrifice, Zed's World Book 4

Sacrifice, Zed's World Book 4 is a great continuation to the series. The Puckett's, D-day and all the gang are back and the confrontation between the Puckett's and the Monteiro's is on the horizon. As in many zombie books that span many books they do become somewhat of background threat as other groups of humans become a bigger threat, but they definitely do raise their heads and make their presence known.

It is a very entertaining book with tons of action and it was very well paced and has enough variety with the story being told about the different groups in the book, the puckett's, monteiros, the army and Danny his wife and Naomi's journey. The story is pushed forward, character's are lost, character's survive and persevere. The ending has a bit of an interesting surprise that will have a very interesting impact on any future books in the series and am interested in seeing what direction they go in.

The narration by Andrew Wehrlen is great once again and having listened to many books narrated by him it has come to be expected by me that it will always be an enjoyable experience. Overall I would definitely recommend this book but if you haven't listened to 1 thru 3 definitely give those a listen to first.

Great Story

This story flowed smoothly and honestly unlike some Zombie tales.

The characters sounded realistic and didn’t perpetually oh you shouldn’t do that factor.

Andrew B Wehrlen always does a fantastic job narrating.

The End?

Pretty good series that covers a lot of characters, territory and conflicts between survivors. The zombies are sort of incidental to the interactions between characters and groups. The book ends with a cliffhanger and twist for one of the best characters.
Andrew Wehrlen continues his excellent narration of this series.

Uncomplicated, entertaining listen.

This is the fourth book I’ve read/listened to by this author and the final of this series. It’s a very typical zombie apocalypse story in some ways- protagonists accomplishing more than would seem appropriate for the average person, lots of battles and conflict, typical zombies, little mention of mundane life.
It’s different in ways too- there are two groups that each have their good and bad guys. I like that I had a hard time siding with either group and I often wanted to scream “just talk to each other, you’ll learn neither of you want this”...well except the instigator on each side. It made me feel angry at most of the real world for all the unnecessary fighting.
This is an uncomplicated, entertaining, somewhat original listen. I’m glad I listened to it.
The book ends in a way that makes me wonder if there will be another book. This could be the end, or not.

This is the eleventh book I’ve listened to by this narrator ( Andrew B Wehrlen). He is a wonderful audiobook narrator. His performances have drawn me into every book of his I’ve listened to. His male and female character voices are great and all individualized.

There are no explicit sex scenes, there is violence and swearing.

Book 4 in the series

I did enjoy this book. I really liked getting the full story of the characters. I really hope that there is a 5th book and that it comes out soon. I will probably relisten to the complete series before hand. The narrator did a great job and enhances your listening experience. I received this for free for an honest review.

Brilliant

This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

I was really looking forward to listening to this book as I have listened to the previous books in the series. The narrator is great and the storyline was epic. There is the right amount of detail and a good pace to keep me interested. I really felt I could connect with the characters and was not sad about certain characters being killed off. I really hope that there is a fifth book.

Don't worry about revenge - this isn't a movie.

The Zed's World series started well - and just kept getting better. The characters met in the earlier books, at least those who have survived, continue to grow: real people, all of them, reacting to their fears, hopes and slights the way that normal folks caught in a far from normal situation might well respond. There are still vast numbers of the undead, varying from fast runners who do not tire to those still mindlessly growling in cars, held by seat belts they don't know how to open, and everything in between. And if trying to survive the zombie apocalypse wasn't enough, there is real hostility continuing between the Montero and the Puckett families. It is hard to say goodbye to some of the chatacters.

Well written with excellent characterisation and seen from several points of view, this zombie story is unusual in it's feel of total plausibility. Plenty of action and very visual, there is a fair amount of gore being extracted both from humans and the Zed's.
The narration is by Andrew Wehrlen, reading with just the right amount of flippncy to keep the story both grounded and flowing well. He maintains a fast pace, never becoming over emotional in presentation, allowing the story to tell itself. Each character (and there are many) is individually and appropriately voiced, whether male or female. A very good performance.

My thanks to the rights holder for freely gifting me a complimentary copy of Sacrifice, after I had requested it, via Audiobook Boom. Not usually overly impressed by zombie stories, Zed World has had me gripped since book I. The tensions continued to climb: book four is probably the last in series.
Recommended highly for all with a fondness for the zombie genre or any apocalyptic fans. It excels
