Publisher's Summary

From the New York Times best-selling author of the Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series comes sinners, saints, and secrets…

Dear Skylar,

Five years. That’s a long time to go without talking to somebody, especially someone who was such a huge part of your life....

A letter from my first kiss and my childhood everything...from prison.

He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy biker most definitely has a wild streak. Hearing from him draws me right back into the Knights of Fury motorcycle club - the people I’ll always think of as family.

He’s still the only man I’ve ever wanted.

Each good, old-fashioned letter from my “prison pen pal” has my heart racing. Which is nothing compared to how I feel when Saint surprises me in person, as a free man.

I was just a kid the last time we saw each other, but the connection between us now is anything but innocent.

He’s the type of man who would do anything to protect his woman. And with my world crashing down around me, that’s exactly what I’m going to need.

Ugh just no

Very much UNlike Chantel’s usual writing. I was a big fan of her other MC series so it was a no brainer to get this new one...but I am so sorry that I did. I hated everything about it, it had no depth, was so ridiculous, the main female character was soooo selfish and immature that it was impossible to appreciate anything about the story itself and then they paired it up with the most over the top narrator lol omg. I just couldn’t wait for it to be over, and now that it is, I will definitely not be trying the next ones in the series.

Potential LOST

This story had the potential to be really good but there was two main killers.... the main character and the MC club itself!
First off this MC club sucks! It seems more like a hang out pad of adopted brotherhood. No security, no brain usage of self/loved ones preservation.
Next the main female character is the weakest written this far in MC stories. all she does and whine and make decisions that even a dumb ass wouldn't make. Then someone has the nerve to put a gun in her hand?? SERIOUSLY!
Lastly, the narrator of this story (on audible) sounds too young and Nasal. Her male impression voices.... not so good.
NOT A RECOMMEND READ!

A Good Read and a Hot Cover

This was book 1 in the "Knights of Fury" series. This was a really good read and audio as I listened and read this at the same time. This book cover is also hot. Skylar O'Connor was raised in the MC her mother was the president's old lady. Skylar has had a crush on Saint since he was a prospect for the club. Hammer the president has always been her father he raised her. When she is sixteen years old her parents break up and she is dragged away from the club. Skylar has a love hate relationship with her mother and I hated her she was a mean evil woman. Five years later she gets a letter from Saint who is in prison all her feelings and questions come up. When she leaves and goes back to the club to get some answers she is not a little girl anymore and when she sees Saint all her feelings comeback. This was a good book her mother was a piece of work she hated and was jealous of her own daughter. Skylar also reconnected with her brothers. When she finds out what her mother did she is hurt and heartbroken that no one told her. This book also had some sadness in it. This book also had some hot sexy times. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling I also liked the narration in it. I am looking forward to reading and listening to the next book in this series.

She annoys me very much.

I was very annoyed with Sky in this book. It seemed like all she did was complain how nothing was about her. She wants all the attention and is a selfish b*** if she doesn't get it. She complains too much.. It turned me off the book right away. Obviously I finished the book, it just took me a lot longer than expected. I kept having to talk myself back into reading it. Maybe her being annoying is the whole point, I don't know. Read it for yourself of course. These are just my thoughts. I hope you like it.

Great Series start ❤️

I agree on couple reviews that compared to some biker books this bike club/house is more like laid back. I think I just envisioned as I was listening as a biker house rather than tough biker club. There aren’t rowdy parties here. That is not what this story was about for me. This was about a toxic mother & her narcissistic acts. Sky the daughter has felt parents love from her stepdad Hammer & friend later love interest Saint. Sky has to figure her place in life and these changing relationships. I really loved her journey.
Narration was great! Great job Vanessa Edwin!

Should be titled Skyler

Whilst I enjoyed the book and the performance, this book should be titled Skyler as it really was all about her, not about Saint.

I would of liked the story to have had some of the chapters be devoted to Saint, his back story and maybe even from his perspective Overall it was an easy read (listen) as was narrated well, twists that made you want to continue listening and a HEA ending.

A good book

I enjoyed listening to most of this. its emotional towards the end. but in the middle I found it just a bit lacking. I found the main character a bit selfish really, just dwelling on herself. but overall I have given 5 stars
