Publisher's Summary

The Devil comes with baggage, and not the kind you can lose.

I was two years old when he saved me. I didn’t understand much at that age, but I remember the pale boy with hair as dark as ink, saving me from two evils. He said he would protect me; I just didn’t know he meant from himself. I was raised in the arms of evil, tailored for the Devil like a custom Armani suit, and every day he wore it like a weapon. Brantley thought by keeping me locked in his manor that it would protect me, and it did.

Until it didn’t.

As I slowly adapt to The Elite Kings Club and the dark, sinister world that exists around the outlaws in suits, I come to learn that the monster everyone fears is the very same one I crave.

Like a prized trophy, I sit on his throne….

Something quite pretty, an object he owns….

She’s a porcelain doll, so shiny, so clean….

Something I want to polish, but to never be seen….

The time has come, I am in his world….

Now his Dea, can be admired by all….

The thing with porcelain is it’s fragile and delicate….

It would only take a second for me to eradicate it….

Great series

I enjoyed this book more than Nate and Tillie's story. I like them the best as supporting characters. There were some confusing parts with this book like the last one. That's honestly my biggest complaint. I seriously hate Hector! He should've been killed for what he did in the last book.

Saint and Brantley 🔥

I am loving the characters of Saint and Brantley. After dealing with Madison and Tille who I didn’t really care for it’s refreshing to have an honest and good character like Saint. The perfect match for the crazed Brantley. I like how she doesn’t need alcohol and is leaning about the EKC world. I especially love her connection to Bishop and how she helps to calm him. So excited for the next book.

I tried. Poor/immature writing and bad editing.

Made it through 1/2 of 2nd book and gave up. She needs a better editor. Thoughts never finished. (Not the cliffhanger ones b/c that is in the next book, etc.), but the smaller random ones that actually caught my interest. Big leaps in the story line where I felt like a missed a whole chapter. Convoluted in an annoying way, not a fun way. Skip it.

Great Series

I will just repeat my last review because there really isn't much more to say other than wow! The introduction of Saint has thrown a new weird dynamic to this series.

I am sort of speechless because the more I read the more I want, the more I am intrigued and confused at the same time. The books got better with the addition of Teddy Hamilton, which is no offence intended to Lucy River who is an amazing narrator, just not her male narration. The most confusing thing about this book is remembering that these are "supposed" to be teenagers. Nothing teenage about any of these kids, there is rarely a mention of school let alone them being there. Each book so far is a cliff hanger that picks up right where the previous book leaves off... no guessing.

An Absolute MUST READ!!

“𝑯𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒇𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒐𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑰 𝒄𝒂𝒏 𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒑𝒆𝒏 𝒃𝒐𝒐𝒌?”

“𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝒅𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕?

“𝑩𝒆𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒔𝒆 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒄𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒘𝒓𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒎𝒆.”

Let me tell you something…that Brantley Vitiosis…my gawd. You haven’t seen anything until you’ve seen this man in love. Holy mother of everything dark and exquisitely delicious his story has left me pretty much speechless. I had no idea what to expect with Saint and Brantley’s story, I just knew I needed it and sheeeesh what a damn story it was! Amo Jones knocked me completely off kilter. Just when you questioned if she was taking it there, she totally took it there and had me clutching my chest in shock. The things that took place in this book had me feeling every emotion on tap from shock to excitement to grief to happiness and everything in between. Her stories are like a minefield because you never know when something is about to blow up and change it all. She kept me guessing and on the absolute edge. I raged, I cried. It wasn’t enough to mind fück me with all the crazy twists but Amo Jones decided to break my heart a little along the way and she is not forgiven for what she’s done. This story wholly consumed me. All I wanted to do was forgo any and every thing not related to this book until I finished where my heart wept for more because I did not want to see it end.

Some mixed feelings

Going with a soft four stars. I was SO excited for Brantley’s story after being on the EKC train for so long, and I’m sad to say it didn’t really live up to what I hoped for. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE Brantley, Nate and Tillie, Bishop, and Eli. I truly do. And the steam in this book was excellent. I just didn’t quite feel the connection between Brantley and Saint like I hoped to, and I did not care for the “curse” aspect. It made the story seem too outlandish to me. While this was not my favorite book, I am absolutely reading part two, and I do adore this series. 🖤

Wow

My head is so pretzeled after the ride that was this book I don't know if this review will even make any sense. But Ms Jones did the thing. I shouldn't be surprised considering what I've read from this author before and even how this series has panned out up until now and yet..I AM FEELING ALL OF THE THINGS. I was and still am obsessed with every part and every single word of this. Saint and Bran Bran might be my girl and boy crush for the rest of time.
